Complete Event Guide for the Game Battle Pirates
This Event, Whiteout, will be very similar to previous events. We are looking at more base combat with an open water flair.
Thus far I have found it is best to attack targets in waves, clearing out ships with a fleet that is fast and excels in Open water combat, and then bringing in a baser fleet to clean up turrets. Rinse and repeat as you step through the targets.
The event itself will be very similar in structure to the September Event, Snowblind, and will have two Level Locked Campaigns. An Elite Campaign target for players looking to test their might against the strongest Draconian Technology. As well as Arctic Fleets on the World Map that are roughly mid to high level in power.
ENEMY SHIP READOUTS You will want to be on the lookout for the following Ship configurations.
NIGHTHAWK Heavy Concussive Damage, can be spotted with roughly 50-60 Sonar Range.
INTERCEPTOR MISSILE VARIANT Moderate Missile Damage, Light Concussive Damage. Possesses limited range Thermal Detection. Moves quick in a straight line but has limited turnspeed.
INTERCEPTOR CRYO VARIANT Moderate Radioactive Damage, Light Concussive Damage. Cryo technology will detonate on ships slowing them and reducing their fire rate. Possesses limited range Thermal Detection.
KODIAK Heavy Missile Damage. Extremely durable, but relatively slow. Equipped with Penetrative Defense Bypass technology.
NUCLEAR CRUISER Heavy Radioactive Damage. Cryo technology will detonate on ships slowing them and reducing their fire rate.
PROTO NEMESIS MISSILE VARIANT Extreme Missile Damage, Heavy Rocket damage. Possesses long range Thermal Detection. Equipped with Penetrative Defense Bypass technology. Engage with extreme caution, Missiles fired from the Proto are splash weapons. Vulnerable to Pinch rockets.
PROTO NEMESIS CRYO VARIANT Extreme Missile Damage, Heavy Radioactive damage. Possesses long range Thermal Detection. Cryo technology will detonate on ships slowing them and reducing their fire rate. Engage with extreme caution, Missiles fired from the Proto are splash weapons. Vulnerable to Pinch rockets.
DRACONIAN ARCTIC INSTALLATIONS Again we’ll be targeting Priority Structures. You’ll want to look out for the following defensive structures:
MINES Submerged defensive weapon, needs to be spotted with Sonar, if you come into contact with it, it will detonate and place a Cryo Field on your Ships.
CRYO TURRET Similar to the Cryo Launchers equipped on some of the Draconian Hulls, this weapon will build stacks and eventually detonate a Cryo Field on your ships, slowing their fire rate and movement speed.
BYPASS MISSILE TURRET The long range Bypass Missile turret, will do penetrative damage to your ships, and bypass a percentage of their Penetrative Resistance.
DRACONIAN COUNTER MEASURE TURRET Very similar to the Forsaken Co-Axial Turret this Counter Measure Turret will fire at incoming Missile, Mortar and UAV projectiles shooting them down until a ship comes into its Ballistic Range.
DRACONIAN ROCKET TURRET Deals extreme explosive damage to ships in its range. Best engaged at long range.
On Defense - Evade: Evade continues to be one of the strongest defensive stats in the game. It is the only reliable stat to boost your defense against the concussive damage from Nighthawks, and will minimize the amount of damage you take from both Missiles and Cryo Launchers.
Rogue Crews: I’ve also compiled a list of Rogue Crews that Captains may find useful throughout the event:
SEA SERPENTS - TURN SPEED BOOST, EVADE BOOST A strong choice, increases maneuverability for your ships and gives them a decent boost to Evade.
DEAD-EYE DESTROYERS - 15% CRITICAL HIT CHANCE Best used on high rate of fire weapons like Torrent Missiles, this rogue crew will dramatically increase your DPS.
WRECKING CREW - INCREASES BUILDING DAMAGE Can be used on your Baser clean up fleet in many of the Arctic Campaign targets, has the bonus of being a common rogue crew so it is easy to get.
BULLSEYE BRIGADE - CANNON, MISSILES, AND TORPEDOES WILL ALWAYS HIT ENEMY SHIPS. Completely negates evade on the Evasive Drac ships. If you are using any of the listed direct fire weapons this rogue crew is a HUGE DPS boost. |
