Character Classes of Cultures Online Game

There are three types of Character Classes i.e. Warrior, Berserker,  and Ranger.

Warrior : The warrior has specialization in battle with a single-hand weapon and a shield He needs to be very skillful and can take a lot of damage.  He cannot cause a big damage as can do some other heroes. Warriors are best off working as a lumberjack while they are  at home.

Berserker : The berserker can be said to be  a crazed Viking who relies on his heavy two-handed weapons. He needs a lot of strength to be able to handle such a heavy weapon. Therefore, a berserker is best off working in the quarry when not off pillaging.

Ranger : Long-range weapons are used by a Ranger.  These are needed by him to defeat his opponents before they can even reach him. To make the best use of these weapons, a lot of intelligency is needed by  the ranger. Rangers are best off researching in the alchemist's workshop when not off on expedition.

Character Status of Cultures Online Game

There is a character status window, where it can be seen how your character is doing.

  1. Experience : Your character will not only rob valuable items while off on expeditions, he will also receive experience. It is possible only if he is successful. If sometimes you feel that the expedition is very challenging for you,  you can build barracks. These barracks will help your heroes where they can spend some time for training to gain more experience.
  2. Attribute Points : In Cultures Online Game, every character has attributes. Every character can increase attributes with attribute points. Each time your character levels up, you will receive attribute points. An attribute can also be enhanced by you by sending your heroes to work for collecting raw materials. Then, points will be received by you for the attribute linked to that specific raw material. These attribute points are distributed automatically. Importantly, once you have distributed attributes, they cannot be distributed again.

Combat

Equipping Your Hero :  To equip your hero, Go to the character menu and double-click on the hero's portrait.  By doing so, you can equip your hero with items in your inventory that you have found or purchased from the merchant. Some items have a minimum level, though, that your character needs to reach before you can use the item.

Attacking Other Players : For  attacking another player, there is horn-shaped icon which you should click on. You can see your status where you stand and also your ranking and attack other players. You can engage in PvP against another player every ten minutes.

Attacking an NPC / Expeditions : There is a tab for the world map. Here, click on the tab to set out on an expedition (either the ship at the top right or the ship that is anchored near your village). Now, you are required to choose where your expedition will take you. Then you can choose between two types of quests. One of the two is a randomly-generated quest - this is displayed as an exclamation mark. The other quest is displayed as a map scroll - this is a story quest. These tend to be more difficult than random quests, but the increased difficulty is off-set by the greater reward.

Loot : After battling an NPC, your hero will receive experience and raw materials.  Sometimes, a special item can be received by your hero.

Tribes : You can band together with other players to found a tribe. Your tribe will then get its own tribal island.

Game World

The game world comprises of the Village, the Expedition and the Tribal Island.

  1. The Village : Your village is on a small island somewhere in the area of Iceland.
  2. The Expedition: : The game world for expeditions comprises Europe, North Africa and the Near East. The more story quests the player completes, the more areas are unlocked. In order to be able to explore every region, the shipyard will need to be expanded as far as possible.
  3. The Tribal Island

Quests

In Cultures Online game, quests are divided into two categories i.e. randomly-generated quests and story quests.

Taking on a Quest

Quests are fulfilled while on an expedition. To go on an expedition, open up the map. When you open the map, you will see destinations you can choose from.  You will see that in the beginning, Reykjavik is the only destination available. When you are in Reykjavik, you can choose destinations from two available quests.

The Randomly-Generated Quest

Click on the NPC with an exclamation mark above his head to accept a randomly-generated quest. The menu is opened where you can see your opponent, travel time, and the rewards that await. If it sounds good, click on "Let's go!".  Then, another menu is opened where you can choose which of your heroes should set out on this epic journey. (Keep in mind, though, that heroes that are off traveling won't produce any materials!) Once the timer runs out, your heroes will arrive at their destination and your hero or heroes will fight the opponent (or opponents) at the destination. If  at the end of the battle, one of your heroes is still standing, then the victory is yours and you have won. When you have won,  you will earn experience, raw materials, and it is possible that you have won some other prized item.

As a rule of thumb, there is always an NPC with a randomly-generated quest to be found in each area.

The Story Quest

Importantly, every area do not have a story quest. Story quest missions tend to be more difficult than random quests, but the reward for their completion is all the more attractive. (What's a sword, after all, compared to the opportunity to travel to new lands?
