How do you unjoin the regatta to get on another team ,I started my own and it's only me doing anything.

where do I find solid wook planks for bird island the peacock house?  Says giant trees?  where are these trees?

I went to the Funky Bay Community Facebook page and posted on there asking people to add me. Several people commented on my post saying that they tried adding me but they couldn't. Do you know what the problem could be? One person said that I don't have the add friend link and that's why they couldn't add me. When I click on invite friends in the bottom right corner it says link. 

I'm also wondering how I invite friends instead of having them add me?
