The game will remain fully playable as it is now. It will be open for everyone for as long, as we have a sustainable amount of players. When the time comes, we will a...nnounce the closure in advance. From September and on, there will be no new adventures in the game and this month's Gathering Event is the last one. We also wont make any changes to the game. It will remain exactly the same as it is right now. No further improvements will be implemented. We will continue to support the players, but only for serious game breaking problems. We are sure that youll want to know the reasons that lead to this decision. Along with you, we had fun for more than 6 years and you mightve noticed that beloved game... grew old. It became very hard to maintain. We are sure many of you have noticed it as well, in one way or another the games engine is very outdated at this point and wont allow us to uphold it to modern standards. Unfortunately, we no longer can make Ghost Tales fresh and enjoyable for you, dear players. And then there's also the thing nobody likes to talk about openly - money. It has come to the point that game is barely sustainable now. We simply cannot afford to allocate more resources to it now - it is no longer profitable to do so. Moreover, browser and flash games are, sadly, a thing of the past. We have to move on and make something new, something better. We don't want to end on a sad note - we've prepared some interesting stories about the game and team that we will tell you in the coming days. This week you can expect a new story cycle about key characters and their fates. And in August, there will be a farewell adventure that will conclude the story of Ghost Town and Anna.
