General Strategies

• Take advantage of terrain. Hills and forests provide natural cover for your units.
• Anticipate your enemy's move. When playing an AI opponent, pay attention to their unit placement and try to predict their next move.
• Don't be afraid to retreat. When in a losing battle, it's better to retreat and regroup than to keep fighting.
• Focus on objectives. Make sure you are always working towards the goal of the mission. Don't get distracted by side objectives or enemy units.
• Keep your units supplied. Make sure your units have enough fuel and ammunition to keep fighting.

Unit Strategies

• Use tanks for flanking. Tanks are great for surprise attacks from the side or behind enemy lines.
• Use infantry for capturing objectives. Infantry are better at capturing objectives than tanks, so use them when you need to take control of an area.
• Use artillery for suppressing enemies. Artillery can bombard enemy positions and keep them from moving or attacking.
• Use aircraft for reconnaissance. Aircraft can provide intelligence about enemy positions and movements before you launch an attack.

Map Strategies

• Use choke points. If you can control the entry and exit points of an area, you can limit your enemy's movements and block their access to resources.
• Look for weak points. Every map has weak points that can be exploited. Look for areas where your units can move quickly and where the enemy is vulnerable.
• Control the high ground. If you can control the high ground, you can see further and gain an advantage over your enemy.
• Plan your movements. Take some time to plan your movements and make sure your units are in the right position to take advantage of the terrain.
