Beginners       if you wana spend money buy high elves 5 dollars

      1   dont send groups out alone.        2    protect and use at least 5-7 groups of archers.

3Dont use giants heavy infantry spearmen or mages as there stats are way worse than regular troops.

4 Archers are key to attacking defending players, targeting dragons giants mages or supporting a weaker flank. 

5 Dont use your hero. Hide him in a group of your troops. Keep a "reserve" army to the very back and use it to support weaker areas

Intermediet       if you wana spend money buy ram riders for 1.50....

depending on your strategy you may opt for some cavalary.

do not play for any other reason then to kill 66% of enemy,,, this means retreat weaker units if the hp bar is getting too even. be more aggresive with all your units if its in your favor.  try to avoid there heavy hitters when you can and target the weaker units.

Beware in this game the pathing.    you want maximum surface area for your units to encircle enemies. ... but beware as soon as another unit gets too close your unit will almost always fight back.

Advanced          if you wana spend any money buy highelves 5 dollars or dragon for 2.50

most of the best strats involve a group of archers. Youll want high elf or dark elf archers as they do 25% more damage. Group them all in a ball (unless fighting dragons then spread them a little) and slowly move that ball up. you may use a few archers here and there to lure enemies or harrass before retreating back to the ball. Same with cavalry, they are much more durable too so better defence for your archers. 

whatever strategy you use make sure like in chess every one of your units is in proxmity to support a different type of higher class unit. Example use archers aggresively but have a large horde or cavarly close enough to intercept an enemy attack

pretned you dont know what you're doing on first stage of game. Mess with your cav and pretend to try to kill enemy leader. continue unitl he advacnes, then position up.
