There's a new version in private testing with the new Portuguese and Saudi Arabian race (with a fictional track layout until I know the real one) Hopefully I can release the game to beta and open testing soon followed by a full release in the next couple of weeks

Lights out away we go! I've just started rolling out a private alpha test of FL Racing Manager 2021, a big milestone! Currently I have 72 members of the testing group. I'm happy with this number for the time being but soon I will open up the testing further if all goes well.There's a a few new features that I've explained over the last few weeks and A LOT of bug fixes and improvements to the game that I haven't been possible for to make in the past. Theres still another month or two for me to work on this before I decide to put in public so please give me your feedback in the testing group, theres still time for new features and more fixing.

Testing out the new randomised ability progression I mentioned. Looks good! This driver had a late spurt and gained two ability points in a few races, hopefully they signed on a nice long contract before that haha This should make the game even more interesting to play I think!

NEW FEATURE Continuing from my last point, relationships can now be positive or negative for a team. Shown in red below is a negative relationship, and also indicated by the red relationships icon in the top left!This will stop single team dominance and produces some interesting scenarios where a top driver will eventually get fed up on driving for the same team and will leave for a lesser team to build them up to the top. Much more interesting game!

Does anyone remember this game? Grand Prix Manager 2? Release in 1996 this is the first F1 Manager game I played and eventually inspired me to develop FLRM.Yesterday I played the game again for for the first time in 20+ years and remembered how confusing, impossible and frustrating it was haha, but ultimately a lot of fun still .The same developer also made Grand Prix World which some more of you may be familar with if you are old enough to remember it.

So I'm just getting Google Play Services working for the new FLRM. I have two fun facts for you!1) an amazing 89,532 have signed into Google Play Services for FLRM since 20152) only one person (see the picture) has won all 22 races with both drivers 1st and 2nd, time to up your game people!

The first phase of conversion of the game is complete! All of the screens and races appear to work. I still have some work to do to get Google Play Services working again, and some of the animations.After that, I will start playing the game myself and when I'm happy it is functional I'll be able to release an alpha version for you all then we can actually start making new features It's been quite tricky to get ths far, I hope the worst of it is now over and the game has a bright future

Good news I have quite a lot of the converted game working now, it's getting closer to being in a playable state. I haven't made any of the bug fixes or improvements yet, they will be started after the conversion has finished. I will likely release an alpha version of the converted game without changes, for those of you who are interested in testing stay tuned!(As you can see I have a lot of cleanup to do still in the UI )
