Focus on gathering resources as soon as you start playing the game. This includes gathering materials like wood, stone, and flint, as well as food like berries and meat. You'll need these resources to craft tools, weapons, and shelter.
Craft a stone hatchet as soon as possible. This will allow you to gather resources much more efficiently than using your bare hands. You can also use it as a weapon to defend yourself against smaller dinosaurs.
