Tips, Tricks and Strategies for playing Ludo With Friends:
  1. Focus on getting all your tokens out of the base: In the early game, prioritize moving as many tokens as possible out of the base and onto the track. Having more tokens on the track gives you more options and flexibility in your moves.
  2. Choose your moves wisely: Ludo is a game of probabilities, so think carefully about which token to move on each turn. Consider the potential consequences of your move and try to maximize the number of safe moves you can make on your next turn.
  3. Block opponents strategically: Pay attention to your opponents' moves and try to block their path whenever possible. Preventing them from moving forward can give you a significant advantage and disrupt their game plan.
  4. Use the safe spots: The corners and safe spots in Ludo are your best friends. Try to position your tokens in these areas whenever you can to minimize the risk of getting knocked back to the base by opponents.
  5. Don't put all your tokens in one place: Avoid clustering all your tokens together as this makes it easier for opponents to land on one of them and send them back to the base. Spread your tokens out to reduce the impact of being hit.
  6. Consider the dice rolls: Pay attention to the numbers rolled on the dice. If you have the option to move one token six spaces or two tokens three spaces each, consider the potential risks and rewards of both moves before deciding.
  7. Be cautious with lone tokens: A single token can be vulnerable to being knocked back, especially if you move it far ahead of your other tokens. It's often better to move multiple tokens together to increase their safety.
  8. Plan for the home stretch: As you approach your home area, plan your moves carefully to ensure you land your tokens exactly in their respective homes. Precision is crucial in the final stages of the game.
  9. Play mind games: Ludo involves some psychological warfare. Mislead your opponents with your expressions and actions, making them think you have certain moves planned when you don't, and vice versa.
