I'm not much of a mobile game player but being a fan of Pokémon since the beginning, I couldn't pass up the chance to try this. Though the "paid" gems can be annoying sometimes, the game does generously give out rewards for playing the game. There are lots of memorable characters from the entire series like Red, Jessie from Team Rocket, as well as a whole bunch of others.

Very much enjoy the graphics. I deducted 1 star due to the difficulty of being able to level up your Pokémon. Instead, you have to pump them up with your level up items. It would have been better if you could fight low-level Pokémon masters to level up.

The game was amazing before they implemented the Stamina System which slows the experience down quite a lot, being entirely honest we were good without having a limit to how many times we could grind for prizes. I personally love this game so I will not suggest you guys any bad decisions, please consider what I said.

The Battle Village was a great addition, but the difficulty curve is far too steep, newcomers that didn't get Red will find it impossible or very hard, making it just in the nick of time. All in all, it's got potential, but it definitely needs to get rid of the Stamina System, improve the odds of getting 4 and 5-star trainers, and open the whole list of trainers to be drawn in the gatcha.

This is the breath of fresh air I've wanted from the franchise for a long time. Love the active time battle system. Adore what they've done and how they reward you with the characters and their stories. The presentation as far as music and graphic fidelity are through the roof! Enamored by the first-person perspective. What a treat! Just beyond impressed.

This game's performance, gameplay, and graphics are out of this world compared to regular mobile games. It brings together all of the Pokémon games in a constantly developing story with brand new events constantly being added. One other great thing about this game is that it is a "gotcha game" (a game where you roll the dice with in-game currency to unlock new characters and items) that is done flawlessly. I am so glad I found this hidden gem. I want to say thank you to the developers of this game.

This game allows us to explore the background of trainers from the main series, which is something they rarely emphasize. It's a great way to learn about our favorite characters. Though I have an issue and that's the battle system. It's not fun or engaging, especially since you can auto most of your battles as long as you have type-advantage. The UI for the battle system also needs polish. The way they list what attacks are going next is unusual. I look forward to seeing the changes they make to the battle system to improve it.

I love this game but the rates of the trainer spawns are very unbalanced, you'll get way too many 3 star trainers. It doesn't help that the offering list is also very limited; you can't get the story trainers from a drawing which is a shame because some of them are amazing. I am cutting your stars for this reason.

The game is fun, the battle system is a great middle-ground between turn-based and real-time and the graphics and music are great. However, a company that makes as much money as Pokémon does has NO NEED to be so greedy with the gem system, it is a pain to have to grind so much to be able to get characters, and dividing gems between paid and free is absurd. This game has a lot of potentials don’t destroy it.

I want to like this game, I really do, but it's got so many problems. The single biggest frustration I have is that the game needs a persistent data connection for absolutely no reason. It tries to communicate with the servers for every single screen you load. Start a battle with NPC or story, go to Pokémon center/home, finished the story, even battle with non-players -- you need data. So unnecessary and *very* poor software design! You should only need a connection for other players and updates.
