- Keep an eye on your snake's length - as you grow longer, it becomes more difficult to maneuver and avoid obstacles. Try to stay relatively small until you have a good grasp of the game.
- Be patient and wait for other snakes to make mistakes - many players will make hasty moves or get trapped, giving you an opportunity to swoop in and take them out.
- Use the boost sparingly - while the boost can be useful for quickly getting out of a tight spot, it also leaves you vulnerable to attack and can quickly deplete your length.
- Stay near the edges of the playing field - this can give you more space to maneuver and avoid other snakes, as well as make it easier to trap them against the boundary.
- Be unpredictable - try to vary your movements and avoid falling into predictable patterns, as this can make it easier for other players to trap or ambush you.
- Pay attention to the leaderboard - this can give you an idea of which players are the biggest threats and which are struggling, allowing you to adjust your strategy accordingly.
- Practice, practice, practice - as with any game, the more you play, the better you'll get. Don't be discouraged if you don't do well at first - keep at it and you'll soon start to see improvement.
