1. Start by Uncovering Hidden Cards: Always focus on uncovering hidden cards first. This provides more options for moves and helps you strategize better.

2. Build Foundation Stacks Evenly: When you have a choice, try to build up foundation stacks evenly. This prevents having one suit significantly more advanced than the others, which can lead to difficulties later.

3. Prioritize Empty Columns: Having empty columns is advantageous as they give you a place to temporarily store cards. Try to free up columns as soon as possible by transferring sequences of descending cards to create new empty columns.

4. Uncover Key Cards: If you have a choice between uncovering two cards of the same rank, prioritize the one that will uncover more face-down cards. This maximizes your options.

5. Sequence Building: Always try to build down in alternating colors. For example, place a red 6 on a black 7. This creates more opportunities for movement and opens up new cards.

6. Expose Hidden Cards in the Tableau: Whenever you have a choice between moving a card from the tableau or from the stockpile, choose the one that will uncover more face-down cards. This increases your chances of finding useful moves.

7. Don't Always Play Aces or Deuces: While it's tempting to play Aces and Deuces immediately, consider if holding onto them might lead to better moves later. Sometimes it's more beneficial to use them strategically.

8. Plan Moves in Advance: Solitaire requires planning ahead. Consider the consequences of each move and try to anticipate how it will affect the rest of the game. This becomes more important as you progress.

9. Be Patient with Empty Columns: Having empty columns is powerful, but don't rush to fill them. Sometimes it's better to wait for the right card sequence to come along, especially if it will help uncover more face-down cards.

10. Keep the Foundation in Mind: Ultimately, your goal is to move cards to the foundation piles. Keep this in mind as you play, and make moves that will help you achieve this goal in the long run.

Remember that Solitaire can involve an element of luck, so not every game will be winnable. However, by following these strategies, you can improve your chances of success. Good luck!
