AngryJolly's tip for those gearing up for their first Void:... "Choose the enemy alliance you want to target wisely, and dont be afraid to change your target once you get your final headcount. Otherwise it could end in disaster! I also was surprised how readily 603 were to switching into different alliances. This clearly raises the risk factor, as we ended up with 10 castles jumping in with T10 and 11, showed in my screenshots. Add those to the fact we were attacking a C32 who already had 700k T10 at home The first Void War brought realm really close together - even after 10 months of non-stop fighting!" HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR! May prosperity and good fortune find you this Year of the Pig! Why do we celebrate Lunar New Year? There are whispers among oldest and wisest advisors that it commemorates a great battle, where ingenuity and teamwork won against great evil Many years ago, a vicious demon-beast named Nian would come down from his cave in the mountains on the dawn of each year. He would terrorize the defenseless villagers, devouring their food, their horses, and eve...n their loved ones, if he could catch them. Only when his sinister belly was full would he go back to his cave to slumber until next year's terror. The fearful villagers could do nothing but bubble up and cower inside every new year... Until one day, a mysterious old man arrived in the realm. Though he appeared wizened and frail, the old man was fiery and brave. "Why do you fear this beast so? You are many, and he is but one. Surely he could not devour all of you." The skeptical villagers paid him little heed, and bubbled themselves up in the evening as usual. They expected to see the old man turned into nothing but chewed-up bones in the morning... But that night, Nian did not come. The old man had managed to ward him off, and he'd gone back to his cave hungry. This went for a few nights, and the villagers were in awe of the mysterious old man's power. They began to whisper that he was a blessing sent by the gods, or perhaps even a god himself. But whatever he was, his power was only enough to keep Nian temporarily at bay. It was clear the beast would continue to return until his vile hunger was sated. Finally the day came when the old man turned to the villagers with determination in his eyes. "I cannot protect you forever. But I can teach you how to protect yourselves." "The beast is a coward," he said, "just like any who prey on the weak. He fears the color red, and he starts at loud noises and strange creatures. So tonight, spread red across the village. Hang red signs on every door. Make loud noises with drums, music, and fireworks. And to protect your children, give them face masks and lanterns." The villagers did as the old man instructed, holding a vibrant and lively new year's celebration that lasted the whole night through. Together they formed a sea of red, and a veritable thunderstorm of light and fireworks. Nian was not only too frightened to show his face... He never threatened them again. However, they turned their raucous celebration into a yearly tradition. They said it was just in case Nian ever decided to come back... But it was also because it was pretty dang fun. And nary a bubble was seen in their village again ;) And now you know the story of Lunar New Year, my lords! While it is one of the biggest holidays of the year for lords all over East and Southeast Asia, it is also a fantastic time for lords of all creeds to wish each other good fortune, and remember what they can accomplish with the power of teamwork.

She brews it herself, with the clear mountain spring water. And it is warned that if you drink that wine, your cup will clatter on the floor, fumbled from your fingers as they shorten and broaden. You'll try to spit it out, but your tongue will clash against your monstrous teeth. You'll dive for the river's edge, desperate for a gulp of water, only to be horrified by your own reflection - whiskered and black-eyed, just like the priestess, still laughing her jolly laugh behind you. So do not let your troops wander far, my lord. It is a mysterious season - not quite winter, but certainly not spring; and the new moon will be rising soon, ready to cast fates for yet another new year. You may find yourself in Shangri-La... or at the mercy of the bear's paw.

Behold, the Wrath of the Undead King! Be alert, my lord, for a new evil is invading the realms... And it may be upon you sooner than you know! Tired of picking worms out of his mead, the Undead King is charging in on beast-back take back the world of the living. You must find and challenge him to stop his path of death and destruction!... Legend states that the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest mid-week, on Wodnesdae, so that is the day he rides on his dark hunt. But he is crafty, and skulks in shadows... So you must search for him all over the world map. Beast must be met with Beast. Your Beast must be in your march for you to challenge the Undead King. He exists in a strange state between life and death, where things like hunger, sleep, and time are meaningless. No matter where you are in relation to him, it will always take the same amount of time to march to him, and you will never lose Lord Stamina or Beast Vigor. BUT, your will weakens the more time you spend in his presence. No lord can stand to challenge him more than 10 times before they need to rest and wait for his next appearance. So it's important to make the most of every hit. He is Undead, and therefore unkillable... but far from invincible. He is corrupted by his trespass in the lands of the living, rendering him weak to 1 random troop type every time he appears. Check carefully and makes sure you send plenty of this Nemesis troop whenever you attack. You will, of course, be richly rewarded for your bravery! It is said that the more damage you can deal to the Undead King, the greater your rewards. Be always on the lookout... The scholars of the Event Center should have the latest news of the Undead King's legend and sightings, so pay close attention to their announcements.

Last-chance Speed Attack wins the Crown, and massive respect among enemies! - by !Archangel! of PHX, Realm 724 "Every Crown War, we take the Crown in Phase 1... And every time Phase 2 came around, EMP would come bringing 50+ players and over 5 million troops. ... We could never anticipate their attack, and we could never defend the Crown. Crown after Crown, we lost on defense... But not this time. We got as many on as possible in the short time we had and still lost. Millions of troops died, and PHX lost hope. We rallied ourselves for a speed attack, knowing that this was the only way. We managed a 23-man speed hit, with over 3 million troops, causing major losses for enemy and finally winning the Crown!!! This brought the whole realm together. Even enemies congratulated us on such a good move and being able to pull this together after the huge losses we sustained in the first attack."

How's this for a ? Never. Trust. ANYBODY! From Csefke.The.Snap of Realm 831 "The lying clan. We were friendly with that clan, but one morning I woke up to see the battle report My city was invaded 27 times. Lost 175k T6 troops." And you have your own stories of betrayal and blood shed, right?... Always remember "Friendly" is a one-way relationship! If you mark an alliance as Friendly, they'll get a notification, but they won't necessarily mark you Friendly back. And even if they do... It's just gives them an extra confirm screen before they attack you. They can still click through it and move forward if they are really cold-blooded. The only relationship status the prevents attacks is Union, which requires both sides to agree before it can be established. HOWEVER, note it does NOT require both sides to cancel! More than one trusting lord has woken up to find their Union cancelled and their city burned. Never assume you are safe because your realm is at peace, or because you have powerful friends! Lust for the Crown, greed over resources, or even just sheer boredom... Unions have been broken for far less.

This girl, only 10 years old, is very sick, and I felt in my heart that she needed some positive energy. On the 22th of December, we had a huge event at my karate school, with the tit...le Spread a Smile of Joy. Server 102 and other friends brought an insane amount of money together! 7500! Her battle against cancer brought us together as one, and together we are going to send her to Disneyland Paris with the money we raised that day. I know this isn't your typical battle report, but this battle is one that is more epic then any other. What are all the Emblems? There are 6 possible Emblems, each of which equips to its own fixed slot, and provides 3 stat bonuses. (Scroll to the bottom if you need a 101 on what Emblems are!) Power Emblem Infantry Attack, Cavalry Attack, Stamina Recovery... Wisdom Emblem Mage Attack, Mage HP, Research Speed Justice Emblem Infantry HP, Cavalry HP, Heal Speed Faith Emblem Archer Attack, Archer HP, Resource Production Commander Emblem Max Army Size, Recruitment Time, March Speed Guard Emblem Max Angels, Guardian Force Limit, Guardian Force Conversion Back up! What ARE Emblems, anyway? Emblems are a special type of equipment earned primarily through Elite Wars (so if you haven't unlocked them yet, don't worry!) After each Elite War, any Emblem Chests you earn will be sent to the Other tab of your Pack. Open them there to get some random Emblems or Emblem Fragments. You need 50 of the same fragment to fuse it into an Emblem, which you can also do from the Other tab in your pack. Once you have a complete Emblem, open your Lord Info screen and tap the "Emblem" button to the right of your Lord XP and Stamina bars to equip and manage your Emblems. Note that there are 6 Emblems in total. They cannot be unequipped once they are equipped, but no need to worry about that, as each has a fixed position (i.e., there is nothing to swap for). Emblems can be upgraded by using more Emblems of the same type, plus the necessary materials. Just tap an equipped Emblem to open the Upgrade screen. Emblems will automatically go up in quality as they are upgraded, but higher level upgrades may require higher quality materials.

Is this the biggest march you've ever seen? Spotted by Vet DaveSavior in Savage Lands! Some to get your march really big Upgrade your Drill Grounds building (permanent). Research Leadership technology in the College (permanent).... Earn Merit to increase your Military Rank to Lieutenant Knight (Rank 4) or above (permanent). Forge & equip higher level/quality Equipment with +Army Size Limit effects (permanent while equipped). Equip and upgrade the Force Expansion Beast Skill (permanent while equipped). Equip and upgrade the Commander Emblem (permanent while equipped). Equip and upgrade Artifacts with +Army Size Limit effects (permanent while equipped). Try to earn Appointment to King/Queen, Grand Duke, or Quartermaster (temporary). Activate the Fast Expansion Lord Skill (temporary). Use Army Expansion items* (temporary). Note that every bullet point above will stack with the others, building up to dramatically larger march over time! *Army Expansion items can only stack with each other in Savage Lands! That's likely how the huuuuge march in this picture was built up. In your regular Realm or other events, activating the same Expansion item will only extend the current effect. Activating an Advanced Expansion while a normal Expansion is active (or vice versa) will replace the current effect.
