  1. Try a different browser or newly released Gameroom which is good for UPWORDS or you can play it in a browser like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, internet explorer.
  2. Clearing your cache sometimes boost you UPWORDS game speed as it forced a fresh download of UPWORDS files in browser.
  3. If you play UPWORDS game in chrome you may need to enable flash in browser use this link chrome://settings/content/flash
  4. Sometimes all you need is system restart to make things faster.
  5. If you have any problem in Gameroom , chrome, Firefox, etc.  Remove it -> restart your computer -> install it again to fix it.

If you still face any game issue you can ask here don’t forget to mention your browser name, version.

I'm not sure who to ask this  question of: why are words that are allowed in Scrabble not allowed in Upwords? Example: gi, a martial arts uniform. OK, which is allowed in Scrabble now, as is zen. Who decided this? It seems very arbitrary. Some very common crude words also not allowed, like shit.
