Were back again, this time with a huge content update! Were thrilled to release the highly requested Freeflight Mode as well as an all new track; Molten Tropics! Heres a full list of whats been added - FREEFLIGHT mode No times, no rings, no restrictions. Collect spinning tokens if youre feeling adventurous, or just explore the mountainside at your own pace. Well, gravitys pace! - Molten Tropics Environment with dozens of new runs - This island paradise is home to a d...evastating active volcano which spews lava across the jungle floor. Its the ultimate tropical thrill ride, if you can handle the heat! - Cross play added so you can play with jumpers on other VR platforms. - Lots of minor bug fixes. Its Gun Club VR update time, and this one is packed full of goodies. We have five new weapons, the highly requested two-handed stock emulation feature, a bunch of quality of life improvements and a host of bug fixes. In the WWII weapons department we're adding two Axis favourites the STG 44 Assault Rifle and the dreaded MP4 Gun, bane of the allied forces. In the general arms category we've got the SKO Semi-automatic Shotgun, the cutting edge EF88 bullpup-style A...ssault Rifle, and the iconic UZI Submachine Gun (weapon of choice for 8 action movie villains everywhere.) Along with those weapons were adding a new Tactical Pistol Stock and a Vertical Foregrip, to help spice up your arsenal. Were also pleased to announce the inclusion of the highly requested Stock Emulation feature. In simple terms, this feature will better replicate the feeling of firing a two handed weapon. It does this by locking the stock of the weapon to the players shoulder, giving the player a much more realistic firing motion. This feature will come with three settings On Gun stock locks to the players shoulder Hybrid (the default setting) Same as On but only engages when the gun is lifted to the shoulder, to still allow for hip firing Off Gun follows the two hands directly, ala classic GCVR Weve also had a bit of feedback about the Grip Offset in the game. Normally, items held in the game are presented as being lower than where the controller is in real life. This is to prevent the controllers from banging into each other when doing things like changing a mag or cocking a weapon. But some users feel like this offset breaks the immersion, so weve added an option to adjust the offset. The settings are Off - Held items is where hand is location Low - Held items are slightly above hand location High - Held items are above the hand location Along with these features weve also added a few more QOL features, including Casting support Rotational Bolt-locking for relevant weapons, e.g. the MP5, EF88, etc G17 & G18 lower rail now supports attachments (No additional mounted rail required) Weve also squashed a ton of bugs, some of the more impactful ones being Magazine Bag when using seated mode is now located higher Torso hiding option fixed Bayonets now effect targets in range again Haptic Feedback intensified (Quest) Disabled unintended UI interaction when using thumbstick (Quest) Fixed the shape of the projected light from torches Fixed unhittable targets in Allied Windows + many more Finally, weve also been hard at work on the Sandbox update, which were happy to announce will be in the very next major Gun Club VR update, coming very soon.
