We have been looking into new ways to connect the community, and instead of doing one large CovetCon this year, weve decided to cover more locations through smaller CovetSocial meetups across the US and Europe to meet more of you! The team has signed off on finalized design and we have entered into the development and testing phase. Speaking as transparently as possible, as we head into these early design phases, it will take some t...ime for us to provide any new updates to report on. But we want to reiterate and reassure you, that we are still 100% committed and that building this feature is number one priority. Since last post, many of you have asked why not turn the glitch back on instead of building this new experience. We decided to do this because the glitch was not an intended feature, and while providing more creativity to you all, it also introduced other unintended issues like overall instability of the game. This is why we have moved around priorities to build this feature out properly so that we can avoid those negative issues. Again, we want to sincerely thank you for your patience during this time as we continue to try to do better as we move forward. We value and appreciate you all as a community.

Covet Community, We recognize that the past couple of weeks have been frustrating. Please know that we have been closely reading all of the tickets, comments, and emails regarding the Hair Accessory glitch. This has been top of mind for all of us here on the Covet team, and we deeply apologize if initial statement came across as anything less than satisfactory. intention for posting was to let you know that we were aware of the issue, but we recognize we did not provi...de a clear path forward. This community is incredibly important to us, and it is goal to always be as transparent with you as possible. You are the very DNA that makes Covet Fashion so special. Over these last few weeks, we have been carefully considering all of your feedback and have had many internal discussions around how to best provide players with a better experience, as well as maintain the trust you have given us over the last six and a half years. In the interest of making progress towards these goals, we wanted to give you an update for where we are *We are currently looking into how we can enable the ability to use your owned Hair Accessories on your unlocked hairstyles for all players as an addition to the Covet experience. We understand the glitch brought a whole new level of creativity to styling and we want to recreate that with a simple, streamlined experience. *Heading into this exploration, we want to acknowledge that we may not be able to release all Hair Accessories on all hairstyles. With the glitch, the layering looked good on some hairstyles, but not on all of them. It is important to us to deliver a quality experience for all users. To do this, we will be testing hairstyles individually on a variety of devices so that we can avoid issues such as scrunchies floating above your model or beads hovering off to the side. * In an effort to be more transparent, we do want to set the expectation that this is a complicated technical fix, and it will take some time to make the flow intuitive and easy to use. It is important that everyone is able to access this level of creativity for the hairstyles theyve unlocked and the Hair Accessories they own, but this change does impact over 40,000 pieces of art. We have shifted roadmap to make this a top priority, and will provide updates so that you know where we are, and how we are moving forward. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us as we constantly strive to improve all aspects of the game; from player experience to customer support. We want to sincerely thank you for your patience during this frustrating time and know that we are committed to doing better as we move forward to address and work through all game issues.
