The costume poll results have arrived! And the majority of Funky Bay players decided that they like Dracula costume. Well, we agree that the chicken looks very cute in this. Did you know that the very first appearance of Dracula was not in the book of Bram Stoker, as many people think, but in the Wilkinson's book "An Account of the Principalities of Wallachia and Moldavia" (1820)? This book has a very short section on a "Voivode Dracula" who fought against the Turk...s. What attracted Stoker to the name "Dracula" was a footnote by Wilkinson which stated that "Dracula in the Wallachian language means devil". Inter-season is the time for the neighborhood to sail with its players to the last buoy on the ship without competing with others. Inter-seasonal regatta will be from October 8 till October 13.... Each task gives 1 buoy. When reaching the next milestone, everyone from the neighborhood gets the prize that is shown in the lower line.
