It was a very fierce fight and they were neck and neck. Later captain Yamato stopped Naruto by suppressing the Nine-Tails with Wood Style and Orochimaru fled. When Naruto turned into Nine-Tails mode, he lost all his self-awareness and hurt Sakura.
