Age of Z game guide by BigWaldo "THE RANGED FACTOR" Hello my friends in AOZ nations! Today I came here to talk about army. About damage. About the ones responsible for heavy artillery! The ranged troops. They are responsible for the highest damage on the fleet and the bonus for them is the most desirable Stat we want. The important damage dealers are snipers, Cannons and laser Cannons.... Snipers are trained at camp, they come in tiers with the level of the camp, like camp lvl 16,22 and 30. Cannons are trained in the factory, their tiers go up with the factory level too, higher tiers at level 19 and 26. Laser Cannons are trained in the workshop, with high tiers at 22 and 30. We must decide what will be the purpose of the fleet to know wich units are the best for the job. The kings of the single target damage are the snipers, they simply have the highest output damage against a single target. Why? Well, the snipers special hability is, after 3 hits, the next hit deal 1.8x damage. So every 3 hits, the next one is almost double damage. Since we have odd tiers according to factory/camp/workshop, if you are at level 26,for example, you cant make snipers at same tier as Cannons. So is it better t9 Cannons or t8 snipers? Still the t8 snipers do more single target damage because of its special hability, the Cannons hability dont help in single target damage. T9 Cannons special hability does lower damage compared to laser Cannon. In other hand, against multiple targets, like in doom arena, elite wars and attacking other players, the laser Cannon shines. Laser Cannons special hability is, after 3 hits, the next hit will hit up to 3 targets. So imagine this. Your enemy send a fleet with many type of troops. While snipers will hit them one by one, the laser Cannon will hit 3 of them at once when the special hability triggers. It means you will destroy his army faster. In several scenarios I sent laser Cannons in some and snipers in others. My kill count with laser Cannons was up to 35% higher with laser Cannons than snipers. Also as a tip, try to have ranged damage skill in all your warfare officers and research ranged damage in the academy, the top players have around 700% enhanced ranges damage. AoZ Guide from player Cmurder from #122 Zombie Uprise Event The Zombie uprise event is allowed to be done once a week. So it is best if you can schedule a time that the most amount of alliance members will be online to participate.The zombie uprise event is a good tool to use to help build your officer power . There are different strategies on how you can play the zombie uprise event. ... The objective is to protect your flags. There will be waves of zombies that come to attack your flag. You can either send your troops to reinforce the flag before the zombie gets there or you can send your fleet to join in fight when the battle starts. Now if the flag is full your only option will be to send your fleet to join when the battle starts. The more waves you complete the more points you earn so prolonging it to last longer is the goal. So having your troops reinforcing a flag that won't be hit for a minute is a bad use of reinforcements. You want to send them in to kill the zombie and withdrawal after the zombie is dead. Everyone's travel time to each flag is the same. So recalling troops and sending troops is not a problem. You want as many people attacking a zombie at a time. That way you earn more points and kill the zombie and move to the next one. Using the uprise event page will help determine which flag is taking the most damage and at risk of getting destroyed first. Some alliances choose to have a select few sharing the location of the most important flags. That way it is better coordinated. It is best to have multiple people battling a zombie rather then each at their own flags. No one person will be able to destroy the zombies by themselves. Remember to withdrawal your troops after the zombie is killed. This event is a good way to build team communication skills and also help teach people to control more than one fleet at a time. Don't forget to use your attack boosts. Every bit of damage you do collects more points which then adds more rewards.

AOZ is a RTS mobile game that have its ambientation in an zombie apocalypse, we all know this. But as i see, many people just ignore the core of the game theme... The zombies.... They are there, in the open, walking from one side to another, waiting your fleet to smash them! For starters, we have something in the game called mobility, and this is used to explore the ruins, kill tyranosaurus, wyrms and...... zombies. Mobility have a limit of 100. But it regenerates with time. The regeneration time can be improved by tech research in the academy, skill from officers and VIP level. It also can be immediatly regenerated with fuel. When i made the little game guide, i advised to kill the most zombie per day that you could, but today i am here to bring some facts about the outcome of killing zombies. My friend and alliance brother Bob the Builder made an experiment to see the outcome and i will bring the results. (Thanks Bob!!) He have at this moment a fresh level 22 city. He killed 37 zombies between level 22 and 24 during 24 hours and here is what he got Food - 432 000 Oil - 288 000 Steel - 132 600 Minerals - 105 300 Equipment materials - 21 Detector fragments - 8 Officer xp - 5000 Commander xp - 32 000 Normal recruitment order - 1 As we can see, the amount of rewards is really good, for just smashing rotten meat! The amount of rewards will change with the monster level, with a level 22 city and right troops, fleet size and officers, you can kill higher levels than those he did. The rewards also have bonus if the zombie was killed inside your alliance territory. Try to save the fuel you obtain to use it during the monster attack phase of Strong Commander event, it will bring you many points! So dont be lazy, kill zombies every day, the most you can, because its just too good to pass. We must save the human race, so please, lets kick some walking deads butts!

Border Wars Nation 50, TLF vs KZT. After a short war, KZT began to encroach on TLF lands, which prompted a neighborly peace treaty, which broke down when TLF refused to help KZT in a core battle against long time TLF ally.... KZT replied with slavo of attacks, which were against well defended TLF strongholds. KZT began to play dirty, using tile traps, and other seedy tacticts. Another treaty made, this time for expansion and claim of an alliance's territory won in hard fought war by TLF. In a snake like move, KZT sent one member to the war claim, and attempted to claim the new territory by saying it was a merger. KZT made a fatal move by trying to take TLF elite mines, by placing their flags on the mines. TLF had enough, after a week of buring KZT flags, 30+ cities ported over and began tearing down KZT. Nothing was safe, TLF fought fire with fire, catching marches on tiles, zeroing cities, bringing KZT to thier knees, begging TLF for pease. TLF granted that pease, IF KZT moved to the other side of the nation. Since this war KZT has merged with bigger alliances, and are creating havoc for TLF, even joining the #2 in the nation for kill event to fight #1 TLF. Will nation #50 ever see peace? Big brother switches gears Nation #97 saw a change of direction for one of the big 3. (BBW)BigBadWaldos, is normally that alliance anyone can go to for guidance and advice. However, during last weekend's kill event, BBW took off the gloves and proved why they are in the top 3. In a bare knuckle brawl, BigWaldo, Qknight and The Wall lead BBW to a huge victory!... For weeks, BBW had been the governing body for Nation 97, seven times in a row taking the core and the presidency. BTS opened the coffers, to beat BBW to take the presidency week 8. In retaliation, BBW showed up for kill event, wiping out anyone standing in their path. When asked how he plans on preparing for the next core event, "I'm just waking up," says (BBW)TheWall, "[but] Preparing my battle sos and buffs for the slaughter." Battle S.O.S. is a commander skill used to eliminate losses from a solo attack, your attack only yields wounded troops. Collecting stat buffs is a must, you will need that advanced army expansion sooner than you think. These hard fought battles, including attacks with over 2 million troops, brought 3 BBW players into the top 10. Will BigWaldo be president next week? Will BTS be able to put up a fight? Age of Z game guide by BigWaldo "Dont be that guy...." Hello my friends in the AOZ community! I will be bringing to you all, twice a week, guides, tips and cool stuff! Today I want to talk about something that I am sure many of you see, think and/or make you want to burn some of your alliance members. Well, there you are, with a marvelous scout in hands, tons of resources and also troops in the middle of the kill event.... You post the scout on the alliance chat and everyone go crazy and want to hit this with you, all eyes glowing for that rich castle. You go and launch a rally, so your dear alliance friends can enjoy the riches with you and get some points for the KE. You send your balanced and strong fleet, with decent front lines, some middle and then the powerful ranged. The rally goes out and BAM, hit the target and comes back with tons of resources. But then you see your battle power goes down heavy What is wrong? I sent a good fleet, why my losses are so big? Well, checking the battle report I see why Only me and a couple of other buddies lost chunks of BP. Why?? FRONT LINES That guy(s), the brother(s) you proudly invited to your rally, sent only ranged units. No front lines at all. This is just not fair. Front lines win wars. Thats a fact. They die faster than any other units without numbers, research, officers and equipments. But the main thing here is, you are sharing the target, using your big bus to drive them there, give them a seat. Why they dont share the losses? The explanation for this? People dont want to lose their soldiers and BP, so they simply dont send front lines. And this is so wrong in so many aspects Its selfish, its bad and its not fair to all the team. A team must share the good and the bad results in the game. In my alliance now, if you want to go in my rally, you send front lines. No front lines? No seat for you in my bus. I simply kick those out if they send no front lines. And by front lines, I mean Tanks or Shredders, armored soldiers and axemen are mostly useless in the game, tanks and shredders are the MVP in any fleet. This is applicable in doom arena and elite wars too, since we are dealing with multiple formation of enemies. So please, think about this before sending a fleet full of ranged troops. AoZ Guide from player Cmurder from #122 . Flags are used to expand an alliances territory. Flags are also used in capturing Elite resource buildings and Benefit Buildings. Having enough Elite Mines to supply your growing alliance is very important. The Benefit buildings are just that, a benefit. If you are lucky enough to capture them I would suggest you do so. They will provide buffs to your entire alliance, giving you an advantage during war. You are limit...ed to a certain amount of flags. You must upgrade your alliance technology (Flags) in order to have the ability to build more. This is why building them to maximize the amount of territory and Elite Mines or benefit buildings you can aquire is important. Pic.1 is a bad example how to place a flag. You are not getting the most out of your flag this way. You receive a daily reward for the amount of territory your alliance has captured. Not for the amount of flags. Pic.2 is a good example of covering the most amount of space to reach your next objective. Using the corners as the connecting points will allow you to expand your territory faster. Pic. 3 showing that as long as you are touching the target then you will capture it. You do not have to completely surround the building. However this can lead to another alliance building a flag to touch it and then both alliances will share it. But only one alliance can gather there at a time. Whichever alliance gets there first. So either block them from getting a flag there or surround it with your flag. Flags increase in cost to build as you go. So building them wisely the first time will save you a lot of alliance points and gold. This is why you see territory from one alliance all over one area of the map. It's not about being able to fit all your members bases inside the territory that matters. It is more important to build these flags to supply the alliance the resources it will need to conquer your nation.

Territory wars As IFU works to expand, PRL seemed to be the only catch in a perfect territory trade. KOR had taken over what was left of DLR, and expressed interest in trading territory with us. The trade would bring IFU closer to sub alliance, FCK and further away from KOR, giving both room to breathe. ... A diplomatic solution, kor would allow us flag passage to the new territory, giving PRL peace. As the trade began early Saturday, another alliance FNS, began sealing buff buildings and elite mines granted by Manifest Destiny. And so began the war with FNS. IFU was the first to hit, Saturday evening proved to be a great bonus in kill event points, as many of members ported to the FNS hive. Soon, a sea of broght blue bubbles lay before us, and the killing stoped l, as we shifted focus to flags, and territory. For hours, the 4 horsemen, Faded.Glory, Dstruct, ANGRY.YANKEE, and NaturallyJay pound away at FNS flags, keeping the fires lit, and the bodies stacking. As with all territory wars and trades, things can go wrong. In the young hours Sunday morning, KOR, the top alliance in 119 and friend of FNS, declared war on IFU... It would seem we are on the brink of civil war.
