Ok so I finally spoke to Apple, they believe the screenshots do not "show the features" of the game. For instance the split screen of the three animals, since you obviously can't split screen in the game, and I was just attempting to show three of the animals you can play as at once, they believe that doesn't mesh with their guidelines. I am going to make some worse, considerably less informative screenshots to appease them. I am 10/10 frustrated with Apple, a company I have worked hard to produce great games for. I'll update you when the new screenshots are ready.

Hey Everyone! I am home from vacation, fyi Vancouver is the most beautiful city I've ever been too! I finally have a number for an Apple representative, and hopefully I'll receive a callback today or tomorrow and get things straightened out! Hey Everyone! I wanted to clarify why the game hasn't released on iTunes. First let me say Apple has been an amazing company to work with and platform to publish games on. At the moment their review staff and I have reached a sort of impasse, I have 100% confidence we can resolve it but unfortunately due to the way they have their program set up, email is the only way to communicate about a games status and has proved extremely slow, we had a phone call scheduled but I am on ...vacation now until the 6th and don't think I'll be able to receive it here. I can tell you confidently no one is more upset than me, I worked so hard to get this game done before the vacation and to have this happen now was crushing. I've done pretty good about keeping it out of my mind so I can enjoy myself on vacation, so no worries there, I am having a great time! I can't give more details as I don't want to further complicate the matter, I'll give you another update as soon as I can. Apologies to everyone who has to wait and who was excited, this situation is so unfair for you. You are such an amazing fan base and I will continue doing everything I can to get the game out ASAP!

I heard some great bird suggestions from a few of you, swan was a heavy contender, but I like to keep a good balance of herbivore, omnivore, carnivore and just felt the bird needed to fill a carnivorous role when I took into account the rest of the lineup.

Back to back Animal Announcement! I know a lot of you really wanted this confirmed, so it's official, you can play as a deer! We have unique models for male and female, and even unique antlers for each stage of the buck's growth!

New Animal Announcement! It wouldn't be the Ultimate Forest Simulator without a fierce Cougar! The game is coming along SO great and I just added a new escape mechanic yesterday, if you are under attack from a predator and take shelter in a den or tree log you'll be rewarded with XP and your attacker will lose track of you!

Ok so I've heard your many requests about making unlocking animals easier / choosing your starting animal. I think we can compromise, you now have 2 animals you can play from the start, and the other 8 will unlock every 5 levels, which means by level 40 you will have all 10 unlocked. This should be much easier to accomplish and give you a bit more variety from the start!

Whoa! It's today! I guess we should celebrate the occasion by announcing one of the Ultimate Forest Simulator's animals..... THE BAT! It's been requested for sooooo long, I am glad I can finally make it happen. They will be getting their own unique dens, where you'll be able to 'hang' out with your family, and you'll be able to hang from tree branches.

Hey Everyone! So I was exhausted from the Ultimate Cat Simulator and needed a few weeks away from it (working on the new sim though), but I just finished an update that should provide about a 15-20% increase in performance and will hopefully get those with older devices over the hump of the game loading. I apologize that I pushed things too far with the size of the world and detail of the city. It was all just a bit much for any device older than 3 years. But I think I did a ...pretty good job optimizing it as I learned a new technique while I was working on the new sim! NEW SIM NEWS! I am well underway on the new sim which will introduce another 10 animals! With everything I learned from the first few multi-animal sims so far this one is shaping up to run faster AND look better than any sim I've ever done. I am really excited for it! Those 10 animals include 2 that are getting upgraded to Ultimate, and 8 new animals (3 of which have been HEAVILY requested). So expect to have a lot of long time requests filled all at once! I hope you haven't lost faith in me and I am very confident I will win you all over like never before with the new game!
