You can attack monsters with either your hero or captains, or both at once. ? Ordinary monsters squads are always attacked by captains only, while rare squads can only be attacked by your hero. ? Heroic and legendary monster squads can be attacked with both your hero and captains. ? Defeating various monster squads gives you certain rewards, namely valor points, experience points, clan talent points and chests of different quality ? Heroic and legendary monster squads can be attacked by group marches. ? To form a group march you need to send your troops to the city of a player who will head the march. That player will control them and will be able to include them to his march as reinforcements. ? Many people generally feel uncomfortable when walking on ancient cities’ squares that are surrounded by historical monuments. Merchants, diplomats, soldiers and usual rubbernecks sometimes feel themselves as if being watched. These sudden concerns are often reasonable because certain old cities’ “monuments” come to life once the night falls… One of these creatures are Stone Gargoyles. They pretend to be colossal stone statues during the day, yet, when night falls, they come to life and go hunting. Despite the fact that these giant beasts are made of pure stone, they have powerful wings that allow them to fly. Stone Gargoyles are naturally carnivores. They fly outside the city to hunt big animals in dense forests. Gargoyles’ physical power is so huge that they tear their enemies apart while their sharp horns make them even more dangerous. The first thing they do in combat is attack enemy riders. Far to the south of modern realms’ borders, near rocky mountains’ foothills lie vast chains of cave grottoes that go so deep into the ground that no researcher has yet dared to descend there. It is only known that it’s a death trap where lots of pirate and mercenary caravans headed to the sea through adjacent mountain ridges vanished without a trace. The legend says that deep inside these grottoes live skilful warriors that were cursed by gods for their disobedience… Those are women with giant snake’s body and multiple hydras instead of hair. Apart from their main weapon, which is their sight that turns enemies into stone, Shrilling Medusas also wield a heavy bow. They are a deadly threat to even the biggest flying monsters and ancient elemental spirits. Their most favourite pastime is hunting mortal travelers that pass near the grottoes. Shrilling Medusas play with their victims that are usually armed with simple bows and swords, luring them closer to the grottoes and then turning them into stone. They say those creatures are greedy and narcissistic. It is said that ancient kings’ shrines are well-protected against plunderers and marauders. Most people saying this do nothing but spread rumours. And yet there are people who actually felt ancient kings’ might on their own skin. The shrines are well-hidden in the darkest corners of modern kingdoms and are guarded by Multi-handed Guardians. These creatures are mighty and silent giants with four hands, each hand being armed with either a sword, a sabre, a sickle or a glyph. Guards wield them perfectly. The guards also have no emotions and have incredible lifespan, which makes them precious soldiers. They are guarding the shrines for countless centuries. They often have to deal with wild animals wandering inside of the shrines, but even more often they mercilessly murder trifling treasure-addicted marauders. If ruby golems are guarding these, then Crystal Dragons are their worst enemies, since there are no other dragons that would be so addicted to precious rubies… These dragons have developed an addiction so powerful that they even look in some ways similar to ruby golems. They don’t have wings, but easily make up for it with their agility and a unique ability to breathe thin ruby dust that cut enemies in half, which essentially replaces their ability to breathe fire. Despite being unlike other dragons, their blood still makes them despise giants. Once they finally get to defeating ruby golems and occupy the precious ruby deposit, they will defend their treasures as furiously as golems and so chase any riders carrying rubies away. It seems that phoenixes are one of the most popular heroes of various old legends and stories. They are usually associated with the fire element and different sun worshippers’ cults. Yet, their true nature is a lot more mysterious. True phoenixes are a rare sight. They live in endless ice deserts outside realms’ reach. However, such an encounter may lead to a catastrophe for an unprepared traveler. Ice phoenixes are made of pure ice. Their wingspan is greater than human’s average height, while their feathers, beak and claws are much sharper than a honed blade. These creatures’ powers originate from the ice element itself. In combat they can cast razor-sharp ice feathers at their enemies, which are allegedly one of the very few things in this world than can pierce a dragon’s scale. Phoenixes are exceptionally proud and arrogant creatures. They never tolerate insults nor disrespect and mercilessly murder and pillage anyone who has been either aggressive or cowardly in front of them. Far beyond realms, separated by vast seas and oceans, lie multiple fantastic worlds, such as endless ice deserts, sizzling sands, temperate coniferous forests and exceptionally dangerous tropic jungles. Very dense vegetation in the jungle still covers traces of deadly predators roaming these primal lands - gigantic carnivore dinosaurs, which are better known to local pygmies’ tribes as Jungle Destroyers. These horrendous and bloodthirsty predators have exceptionally powerful jaws that can even bite through the toughest ruby golem, while their muscular legs allow them to be as fast as leopards and panthers. Certain travelers who visited these lands started a tough business of catching these beasts using durable cages that they later sell to pirates, who in turn resell the beasts illegally to realms’ residents. While held in captivity, these monsters got used to being fed with horse meat, which is how their owners accustom them to primarily attack fast enemy’s riders. Many talented poets praise their kingdoms’ warm and clean azure waters that have a lot of their own secrets and dangers. Brave seamen don’t even realize most of these… One of the most common yet unobvious reasons of pirate vessels vanishing near the seashores is Water Elemental encounters. Few witnesses of their appearance are usually crew members of merchant vessels that get regularly attacked by pirates. Water Elementals guard the purity of their waters, and so they can’t stand it when people shed blood in it. Witnesses tell that Water Elementals are entirely made of water, which makes them invincible to almost any regular weapon attack and that they wield an enormous bow in combat. The bow’s grip is made of pure sea pearls. They use water as arrows, which makes their attacks deadly as their elemental powers can greatly enhance arrows’ speed and pierce multiple enemies at once. It is known that Water Elementals despise dragons and often attack them while they fly over the water.
