Android App problem fixed! Dear Gauls, some of you were unable to start the Asterix & Friends App after the update to Android 10 on your mobile devices. The Samsung Galaxy A6 to A10 devices were particularly affected. A new version of the app is now available for download, which fixes the problem so that affected players can play again. Please download the latest version of the app if you have not been able to start the app since the update to Android 10. Dear gamigo players Asterix & Friends has not been available on Gamigo since the 29th April. Unfortunately, Gamigo and we were unable to find a solution to the problem. As a result, the cooperation between gameXcite and gamigo ended. Many of you already switched to website and continued playing their old villages there. We want to include you in future plans, therefore we want to ask you for your opinion every now and then. Thank you for your patience! Dear Gauls, it has been about three months since we officially took over Asterix & Friends and not everything went well. Taking over and maintaining a game can be quite the bumpy road and we want to say thank you for your loyalty, patience, and for your honest feedback. We are excited that we were able to bring back the Flower Power weeks after a very long period of no events at all. Hopefully, you are already busy picking flowers and crafting... bouquets! Tulips, Lilies and Roses are available on the market now, so you can stock up on flowers whenever you want. We also took this opportunity to sent out a little compensation via ingame message for the downtimes and the problems that followed. Thank you so much for being a part of this community! Dear players, We want to give you a short update about some problems affecting players at the moment Web-Version Payment While integrating new payment provider, we encountered unexpected problems, which is why payment isn't available in the web version right now.... We're working on a solution and are confident that payment will be possible again soon. Facebook friends food gifting We're aware that sending food to Facebook friends isn't possible for most players at the moment since this feature was already buggy for a long time. development team is already working on the solution, but at the moment we can't state an exact date the food gifting will work again. We hope you'll stay patient a little while longer. Android version Crashes, Loading Issues, and black screen Some Android users encounter crashes, Loading issues, and a black screen at the moment. Dear Gauls, We know it's been a loooooong time and your patience must have been made out of menhir, but the time has finally come and we're as happy as Obelix smelling roast boar, to announce the return of the Flower Power Event! And yes, we are aware of the fact that this announcement comes on short notice ;) But better than nothing right? In order to install the Event, servers will be offline tomorrow, June 3rd from 9am to approximately 2pm CEST. ... For everyone, who needs to refresh their memory or all the players, who don't know the Flower Power Event yet, we summarized all important infos - Roses, tulips, and lilies are dropping now when collecting resources. The drop rate of the flowers has been increased (compared to the previous event) - Four event recipes can be found in the tailor shop Flower Bouquet, Grand Bouquet, Present, Wrapped Gift - One event recipe can be found in the leatherworker shop Bunch of Tulips - There is a total of eight event quests, two of them are repeatable every 72h - Furthermore, you can continue completing your event achievements! - AND we increased the drop rate of flax for the time of the event. The event will take place from June 3rd to July 15th.

Dear Gauls, unfortunately, Asterix & Friends was not available on all platforms due to technical problems. We deployed a temporary "hotfix" in order to make the game available again. Thanks to this hotfix the game will be available again for almost all players. However, this hotfix does not work for all users of the mobile app (Android and iOS). Everyone else might experience longer loading times and occasional connection losses for the duration of this emergency hotfix. Naturally, we are still working on fixing the technical problems. We are very sorry that these problems occured and we apologize for the inconvenience caused!

Increased Support Response Times Dear Gauls! support team has to face an extraordinarily high amount of support requests at the moment and needs time to work through them.... Those of you who sent a ticket in the last couple of days might have noticed. response time is about a few days now since some problems can't be solved immediately. As a result, we want to ask all waiting ticket requesters not to send new ticket requests regarding the same problem, since it would complicate the whole situation. Be assured we didn't forget about you, we just need time to get to your ticket. If it is not totally necessary you may not submit a support ticket this week, if the problem is not absolutely urgent. Thank you for your understanding! 1) The language-bug got solved! Everyone who plays via Link can now start the game in their language again. Simply make sure that the Login Page is being displayed in your language. You can change the website language in the upper right corner. The game will start in the language that is being displayed in the upper right corner when you log in. 2) You didn't get a password confirmation mail? Since the maintenance, a new account system is active. Unfortunately, not all email addresses got migrated. These email addresses got filtered out and the affected players will get an answer very soon! Everyone who is not affected by the migration problem We noticed that some players tried to reset their password in the old account system because the instructions in FAQ were unfortunately outdated. Hi everyone. Here is a short update for a few other issues Password reset Some players of the web version haven't received a mail after resetting their password. We are working on a solution. In the meantime please make sure that you are using the correct email, wait at least 3 and check your Spam filter. If that still does not work pls contact us via FB Message or E-Mail.... Facebook Gameroom The game doesn't work for some users on Facebook Gameroom. We got some reports from players that deinstalling and reinstalling Gameroom fixed this issue. Player playing the game via Gamigo During a maintenance on Gamigo's side on Wednesday Gamigo has done some changes to their backend system that prevents Gamigo-Users to be able to login to the game. We are also working on a solution for this. As we posted yesterday, there are also still the issues that the web version (via Link ) is currently in English only and that no ingame purchases can be done there. To everyone who is stuck on the Flash error page and cannot load the game Some players were able to fix the problem by refreshing the page pressing CTRL and F5. If you are experiencing the problem, please try to refresh the page this way, when the Adobe Flash error page or Adobe Flash loading page is being displayed. We have released a new version (2. in the App Store with a bug fix for the Facebook Connect issue. Please, install it as soon as possible. If the version number of 2. gets displayed in the lower-right edge of the loading screen, the right version is installed! Please check if your village gets properly loaded. If that is not the case, please reinstall the game, complete the tutorial and use the Facebook Connect Option to bring your old village back. In case that is not possible for you, please submit a support ticket and state the name of the new village, you created with the reinstall and the name of your old one! How to fix the problem The game is not being displayed in Chrome Some of you might have noticed that the automatic update to Chrome 80 brought some changes which kept many players from playing Asterix & Friends via Chrome. Instead of the game an empty page is being displayed. We were able to locate the source of the problem and want to inform you on how to fix this issue 1. Visit chrome://flags/ -site-by-default-cookies... 2. In the line "SameSite by default cookies" (highlighted in yellow) click on the dropdown menu and set the value to "Disabled". 3. Restart Chrome to activate the new settings. Afterwards you should be able to play Asterix & Friends via Chrome again, as usual.
