Where's the Winter Event? Hello, dear Gauls! We wanted to inform you about the whereabouts of the Winter Event.... Let's start with the bad news right at the beginning The Winter Event won't take place in the near future. But why? In order to bring back the Winter Event, an update for the Android and iOS apps is necessary. The Android update was already released some weeks ago, but the process of transferring the game to new development team and publisher keeps us from completing and releasing the iOS update. We are very aware of how you looked forward to this event, especially since we raised the hopes so high. We're very sorry! But we want to assure you, all of the feedback you gave us wasn't in vain! It will come in handy at the end of the year. But now onto the "good" news We are pretty confident that the iOS update issues will be solved at the beginning of March and we will be able to start with the Flower Power Event! We hope you'll understand and that you're not too disappointed!

Attention Attention Dear Gauls! :) A new ANDROID update has been released, which will fix the following problems:... - The app will no longer automatically close when starting it for the first time after a fresh install - Users (especially Sony Xperia users) won't get stuck in the loading screen any longer* *In the case that a new village gets loaded after the install of the update, you can restore your old village with the help of the Facebook Connect option, IF you connected your village with Facebook before. In that case, please finish the tutorial with the new village and then use "Facebook Connect" which you can find in the options menu. If not, please contact Support and state the name of both your old village that you want to restore and the new village that is currently on your device. Please install the latest update from the Google Play Store as soon as possible. After the update, new players could experience the following problem When reaching level 8, you can build the boxing ring and a mini-tutorial will pop up. So far, so good. But if you use the "back button" of your mobile device while being in the "Select Defender Screen", it could happen that the game won't respond anymore. In this case, please restart the game and complete the mini-tutorial again. The fix for this problem will be released in the new year! We apologize for the inconveniences.

Attention Attention Dear Gauls! Some time has passed since announcement of the big Unity update.... We understand that you wish for a more active communication regarding this topic from team, but we think it doesn't make sense to communicate any updates regarding this matter unless we have concrete information for you. Therefore, today we want to give you an insight into work of the last weeks but also talk about what will happen regarding the big update and the seasonal events! Requirements from Google and Apple to apps are frequently updated, especially regarding the technical side. In order to meet these requirements, we had to apply extensive changes to the game code. The biggest blocker at the start was the iOS app - as long as we haven't implemented several technical updates, Apple won't approve new app version, and we need these updates in order to activate and deactivate the seasonal events like the winter event. (We want to bring back the events as soon as possible! You waited long enough for them.) Further on we were informed by Google about new Android requirements - with the 1st of December as a strict deadline. For that reason, dev team worked hard to meet these requirements. We had to update certain extensions in the code and even replace or rewrite them in some cases. Unfortunately, we have to admit, despite all the hard work, we couldn't keep the deadline. We still have to solve a few last problems, which is why the update will go live at the beginning of next week and not today as we had planned. As a result, payment issues may potentially occur in the Android version of the game from Sunday on, but rest assured, they won't occur for long! So, if you planned to buy Roman Helmets, we would highly recommend to do it before Sunday. Again This potential problem will only affect Android players! We apologize for any inconvenience! This update will be a purely technical one, so you won't notice any changes. At the same time, we continue working on the update for the iOS app to hopefully bring it live shortly after the Android version. These extensive operations will lay the foundation for the winter event, which we are still planning to start in December with some new quests for you! Since the last winter event dates back a few years, we're highly interested in your suggestions for improvement! Did you have enough time for the achievements? Did you get quest rewards you considered useless?

Current login and loading issues for the Facebook and web version of A&F! Good Morning Gauls! As many of you already noticed, there a big login and loading issues for the Facebook and web version of the game right now.... Especially the "big browsers" Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Edge are affected. If you use another browser, let us know if it works or not and which browser you use. Right now we can say the game works in the browser "Falkon". We don't know yet what's causing these problems, but we are, however, looking into this matter and try to rectify it as soon as possible. A breath of fresh air for Asterix & Friends! Warm greetings to you, dear Asterix & Friends community! I'm Blueberrix and will be your new Community Manager from this day on.... From today on, a new team will maintain the ""Asterix & Friends"" game and take over the operation and development step by step. For a long time it has been quiet around the game. You may have asked yourself What is going to happen? We know there is a lot we have to catch up with! Primarily, winning back the trust of the community! As we all know, Adobe Flash will be shut down next year and that would be the end of Asterix & Friends as well. But that's not what we want! The adventures of Asterix have been a part of childhood and we want to provide a platform to interact with Gaulish heroes for all Asterix fans around the world. So, what's plan? The first step we want to take is transferring the whole game to the Unity Engine. This will provide a solid, up-to-date technology making the game future-proof and more stable in its performance. After we pushed this menhir out of the way, whole new ways will open up for us! Game design improvements, new features and new content overall are on to-do list for the game! And that's the part where YOU get into play! You, the players, know best what needs to be improved. We want to be honest We can't perform magic and implement every idea and improvement suggestions, but we want to listen to your feedback as good as we can. Therefore, we will do specific player surveys asking you for your ideas, your suggestions for improvement and your criticism. We know you waited for a long time for something to happen and we hope your patience hasn't run out yet! Because we will need some months to put plans into action. Step by step we will work on steering Asterix & Friends back into the right direction, so in the end it will become the game again that delighted you back then! It would mean the world to us if we could walk this way together with you! I assume a lot of you you know the game inside out (thus better than I do at this time), so I'll be happy about every kind of help from your side and hope you'll be lenient towards me, if I don't have an answer for every question in the beginning.
