How Does MLBB Matchmaking System Work? MLBB Matchmaking System was established based on Elo rating system, which is is a method for calculating the relative skill levels of players. It is named after its creator Arpad Elo, a Hungarian-American physics professor. With the groundwork laid by Elo rating system, MLBB exclusively added numerous variables such as rank, recent match results, skill levels of teammates, number of teammates, etc. After weighing all the variables, as a... result, an "ML-Elo Rating" is produced for each player. When a player enters the matchmaking pool, the system will match the player with teammates and opponents with similar skill levels in as short a time as possible to create a close match. For each match, there should be 10 players in total. If a player waits for too long, the system will increase the dimensions of matchmaking. For example, to match both a slightly stronger opponent and a slightly weaker opponent at the same time to ensure that the player starts a relatively fair game as soon as possible. For MLBB, the core purpose of the matchmaking system is to provide players with a match of highest quality in the shortest time! Here, a brief case study will help you further understand how the system works. The theoretical skill level is not the only factor that determines victory or defeat. Hero mastery, lineup, team chemistry, etc., all can be the important determinants of the game. We're currently further optimizing the matchmaking system in Advanced Server, which will further resolve the issue of large rank gap and reduce the probability of a solo-queue player being matched with trio-queue players. We'll continue to explore the best balance between queue time and match quality. The pursuit of providing the best gaming experience never stops. May victory be with you always!

Welcome to MLBB Classroom - Credit Score & AFK Punishment! 1. What is Credit Score? Credit Score is the rating of a player's in-game behavior. If there are violations such as AFK, negative playing, intentional feeding, etc., Credit Scores will be deducted.... 2. What happens if Credit Scores are deducted? Players whose Credit Score is below 90 are banned from Rank Mode. Players whose Credit Score is below 60 are banned from Classic Mode and Brawl Mode. If your Credit Scores are deducted, the Battle Points you get will be deducted accordingly. 3. How to restore Credit Score? You can restore your Credit Score by daily login and completing every match regardless of the result. However, there are different restoration limits for different players. 4. What are the factors that affect the restoration limit of Credit Score? The system will calculate all the matches where there were violations (AFK, negative playing, intentional feeding, etc.) among 100 recent matches, and deduct the corresponding Credit Scores according to the rules. The more matches in which your Credit Scores are deducted, the fewer Credit Scores can be restored every day. (For example, Player A went AFK in 1 of the recent 100 matches while Player B went AFK in 10 of the recent 100 matches. It will be much harder for Player B to restore Credit Scores) 5. Other punishment If a player violates the rules twice in the ranked matches of a day, he/she will be banned for 1 day. If a player goes AFK for too long in a ranked match, he/she won't gain a star even he/she wins the match.
