Weve come a long way since then and the game I played the most and still am is Diablo 2. Except RD I play PC only. I usually like to dig my teeth into something and play it until I feel Ive mastered it. With a few exceptions I was never a heavy gamer though. My favourite toy for the past 20 years is made out of wood and called skateboard.RD We are curious how long have you been playing Realm Defense and how did you hear about it?egonolsn I got on shortly after it released in December 2016 and was simply checking the Playstore for my first mobile game ever. I always enjoyed the TD genre and browsing through it the design was appealing and 100 GMs later here we are^^.RD What are your favorite parts of Realm Defense?egonolsn Its the combination of strategizing and performing. The mechanics and abilities allow for many options on how to take on an onslaught of creeps. To figure out a plan in your mind is one aspect. But to perform it with a heart rate surging towards the end of a run is something entirely different. Its addictive.RD Who is your favorite hero in the game?egonolsn Thats a tough one. Over the years pretty much every one of them has won my heart. Each season had their best in slot heroes and all of them bring back many memories.If I had to nail it down most useful in the entire game it would be Helios. My personal favourite probably is Narlax but its too hard to call. They all are really cool in their design with only the new ladies still in need of a little something.RD What is your favorite world?egonolsn Again, they all have their charm. But World 4 takes it for me. Love everything about it and who ever designed it deserves a raise.RD Any favorite strategies you would want to share with the community? egonolsn Winning is easy. Losing is what you need to learn. Many very talented players have quit after they couldnt keep the top spots and tried too hard and the fun turned into frustration. Ive lost many times and every time it happens it bugs me less. Winning is still nicer though^^.RD What new content or features would you like to see added to Realm Defense?egonolsn First of all just keep working it to ensure I can get to 200 GMs please. More of the same I guess. Theres a lot of potential with the existing levels. By tweaking the difficulty the fun can be multiplied. Many players I talk to have a cornucopia of ideas ranging from PvP, guilds and Co-Op to new worlds, reworking and upgrading heroes. All of that please. And by tomorrow! And then some!No seriously, from working on a mod of Diablo 2 (Reign of Shadow) myself I know that creating and balancing new content isnt as easy as us players like to think. So just make sure you guys are staying as passionate about the game as your fans are and to quote Lancelot Onward!

It is fixed now and anyone affected by the bug should be seeing a little gift in their inbox soon! Dear Realm Defenders, an exciting Facebook Contest has begun! Tons of rewards are waiting for you! The development team has seen quite a few comments from players wanting their favorite heroes to get new skins or feeling like their favorite has been neglected. We are here to change that! Rather than arguing among the team we are bringing it to the community to decide the next heroes to get skins and pitch ideas on what those skins are. Lets get you what you want! Week 1 (Fro...m now on to 1st. June) - Pitch your skin idea with at least one image. Please upload the hero skin you designed in the comment section. It can be a drawing or you can use whatever media you want to describe the skin for your favorite hero! Sculpture, collage, photobash, MS Paint doodle, chalk art, shadow puppets or interpretive dance (maybe not interpretive dance). On 2nd and 3rd June 10 winners will be chosen based on a mix of player interest and dev team voting to receive gems and gift bundle. We will contact the 10 winners per Facebook Messenger on 2nd and 3rd June to ask for their ID numbers. Rewards top 10 winners 3000 gems, 2 Freeze Potion Lv2 and 2 Meteors! After we post the 10 winners artists will get started on sketches of the 10 hero skins! When we finish up the sketches we will come back for a second round of voting! Hello Realm Defenders! As we are mid way through May, we wanted to give a quick update on latest release and the upcoming goals of the team! As we work to get new content out soon releases have been focused on mostly bug fixes. push for new levels and more is taking up most of the teams time. The fruits of that labor are going to be seen and playable soon!... The other thing you will notice today is first release with some help to the hero and elixir grind. This is the first in a series we have planned. We have been listening to feedback closely and have a great plan for upgrading older parts of the game and adding new systems to help you all unlock more of the game! As the image indicates some of you participated in the first of a series of new boss encounters we are dropping in the tournament. Keep your eyes open throughout the tournament season and for other reveals in the game that hint at upcoming content! Lastly, we have heard a lot of players wanting specific hero skins. Look for an upcoming FB event where we will help you get some of the skins you desire. If there is a hero you really want a skin for, lets try to make that happen!

Hello Realm Defense players! We hear your concerns! Let us address them overall and let you know a bit more about upcoming goals and releases. Sometimes it is tough to come out and say what we are working on because game development has a lot of ups and downs. We never want to promise something that ends up changing (has happened in the past!) On the release of Rank 7 to 3 heroes. It would never be intention to make people feel hopeless or for the grind to be so daunt...ing as to not be fun. We had a really specific goal for these 3 heroes. We felt like like we had failed in some ways with tournament meta. Seeing the tournament leader board be the same units week after week was getting very stale and not intention. We want tournament to have creativity, exciting hero combinations, and surprises. More moments of "How did they do that!?" The units and skills we added for R7 have synergy, specific use cases, and novelty. We think they add to the "puzzle" of finding the right combinations without being overpowered and P2W. We are excited to see how they are used and are sure we will see some Youtube videos of fun combinations soon! We are keeping a close eye on tournament to make sure goals are achieved and they add positively to the game rather than bringing frustration. On upcoming content and hero tokens. We have tons of new content in the works! You will be seeing new levels in the next month or so (Something building on recent releases but with a twist!) Then largest event ever after that. We have listened to all your requests and concerns and know we are combining what people want into an epic and fun event. The story of the game is going to find its way into this season of tournament, the next levels we release, the event in June, and lead us into... World 7. We have also looked into cohesive new ways of acquiring hero tokens. Still more work to be done on that front! We are confident that the rest of this year will bring a ton of new content for players at all levels. One of the biggest things we have to say is thanks for your patience! engineering team has been working really hard this entire year to make changes to existing game. Their work is going to finally allow us to release more quickly and with less bugs. It will allow for people to protect their account, save their progress automatically, and even allow for in-game friends and many other things. The list of possibilities is endless and we will be taking full advantage of all of them!

We had all kinds of ideas for April Fool's pranks this year. (From changing everyone's skins to all use the world 1 troll's face to saying next event was celebrating tax day and you could possibly lose gems by participating.) In the end, we didn't feel like pranks were all that funny during the COVID-19 Pandemic. (Like many of you, we are quarantined in homes.) Instead, here is a small gift from all of us at Babeltime.
