Mates can now hold prey too! Just tap a dead animal and select the new Pick Up option and one of your mates will hold it in their mouth, tap that mate again to show the Drop button! Also female foxes will be have a slightly darker coat than males.

Time for a quick look at the 3 foxes in the Ultimate Fox Simulator! The Red Fox, Fennec Fox, and Arctic Fox! There are also other breeds represented by color swaps! Two other things you may notice are big new features. #1 Is the new Motion System I implemented, it makes the foxes body move more fluidly when turning instead of just walking (SEE CLIP #1). And #2 I am not sure if you can quite see it in these videos but I was able to implement seasons for the flora. Bushes and trees will smoothly transition between spring summer and fall! There is still lots to be done but I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek!

Hey Everyone. Well this is a pretty new experience for us as a community. One of you put it best as "I bit off more than I could chew". The Ultimate Dinosaur Simulator is a bit of a mess, and needs to be fixed, that is a given. I apologize so many of you are having trouble with it. I will fix everything I can after some time. Unfortunately lag is cause by memory consumption, everything in the game takes up some amount of memory, including animations. Playable dinosaurs have a...round 35-40 animations, compared to enemy dinos which generally have about 8-10. So with 10 playable animals, the game has about 350 extra animations more than previous games, thats many times for than the game usually has all together. This cause a really high memory consumption that not only causes lag, but it is unfixable, every animation is needed to be a playable dino, and dinosaurs are big complex creatures so the animation are more intensive than usual. I just wanted to deliver everything you guys asked for, even half way through the game only had 8 dinos but with so many requests for the Mosasaurus I upped it to 10 and tried to atleast include it (i know the aquatic world is pretty barebones). These are all mistakes and learning experiences, I promise to do better in the future. All of the smaller bugs can and will be fixed. In short I believe I have found (and passed) the ceiling for these mobile games and my abilities. Together we have shared a lot of successes and I guess this is us sharing a failure. I know you all are really anxiously awaiting a fix but it will have to wait a few weeks. I am just too burnt out on the UDS. Other multi-person companies can offload the work between each other, something I don't have the luxury of. My work and my life are one in the same. And the pressures of an ever growing community and the grueling work hours I put in on a daily basis really influence my mental state. I just need a break from the UDS for a bit. I have simply learned to anticipate when I am getting overwhelmed and avoid it. I will be scarce with my social media presence but I will be working hard on the Fox, which has some really cool new features in it, and I will spend the majority of my time refining the performance of all recent features to get the games running smoothly again for everyone. YESSS! Apple approved the Ultimate Dinosaur Simulator! I should have a link for you shortly! Also, I have to give it up to James Thornton III, he predicted today as the release date from the start! Even I though early next week was best case scenario!

Ultimate Dinosaur Simulator version 1.0.5 has been submitted to both Google Play and Amazon now. I went DEEP into my bag of tricks and even learned some new ones to get the game optimized as much as possible. Assuming I didn't introduce any new bugs, this will probably be the last update before I start working on the next game. I think 10 animals might be a bit overboard for a single game, the amount of animations needed impact memory heavily, and it whats causing this game to be slower then the ones before it. Next time I will probably keep it around 6 animals. But I really think you all will feel the improvements in this update! Anyways, now its time for the Ultimate Fox Simulator! After I go out for some RAMEN first!!! =)

Sometime the simplest ideas are the best! I've added a new setting in the menu for water Simple or HQ (high quality). This will automatically be set to Simple if you use LOW quality, and should provide a pretty huge performance boost and will prevent the water over the dinos head issue! Submitting it now and should be available later today!

Hey everyone! Ok so, although I really love the new water in the game, without a device that is experiencing the water glitch I can't really test for it. I also think it is whats slowing down older devices, So I think today I will rework the water, maybe the same water as the dragon. I really liked the new one as it provided distortion effects but too many android devices are running too slow. iOS version will remain with the high quality water as I know they can handle it. I'll post pics of the new android water when I finish it!

Ultimate Dinosaur Simulator v. 1.0.3 is submitted and should be live shortly! NOTE Redo ALL of your settings! (example set Quality to LOW again) Ok everything from the previous posts has been fixed! The water glitch isn't happening on any of my testing devices, so I can't be sure I fixed that, I did work on the water shader however and I have a hunch I fixed it. More performance improvements but I've done about as much as I can without reducing the quality look of the game. The LOW setting wasn't saving before, so for those who use it set it again and you should really see the effects now!

Wow ok you guys are amazing! All of the game settings are not saving right now, so Quality, Shadows, Blood etcnot saving correctly, the code was compromised! All fixed in the upcoming update plus a lot more! Now to figure out the water over your dino thing!

So today I am going to work on another update, my main focuses will be fixing the water appearing over the dino glitch, removing some rocks as they appear to be causing trouble navigating, stopping your dino from falling through the floor (ive got a good idea for this one!), speeding up performance, and reports of switching dens either not working! Anything else leave in the comments below!

UPDATE version 1. is LIVE on Google Play! Ok! Update 1. is already submitted and should be published shortly! This will solve the all black boxes on the UI glitch! Keep the bug reports coming! I am testing on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, so I am not sure what's causing devices to report as unsupported. Link

YES! That lead turned out good and the problem is solved. Have to test a little extra to make sure it didn't do any damage to the game but I am able to develop again, barring another setback we are good to go for tomorrow!

Hey Everyone! I don't want to cause too much concern but I have hit a pretty huge problem, not with the game itself but with my development software. I am working hard to find a solution but I may need help from their support team during business hours tomorrow. I'll try everything I can and keep you updated but this will almost certainly cause a delay. Again I'll update the post as soon as I make progress!

Time to reveal another playable animal! The sabertoothed tiger (or Smilodon)! This preview also includes the swamplands, brand new water, and the end I attempt to show off the new combat camera. Instead of unlocking from enemies when you run, the camera will remain locked on your target, allowing you to navigate quickly to dodge, recover and position your dino during battle. The same is true for when you touch the screen now. It will lock the camera to your finger, allowing you to focus on a spot while freely rotating and navigating your dino. I would need more footage to completely explain it but I am a bit too busy to do that right now! =)

The game looks AMAZING! I am so excited to show you all a preview! I need to finish polishing up the terrain some, but the jungle is SO lush and colorful, giant roots, towering trees, flowers, bushes and just an all around gorgeous environment! I should be able to show you something on Monday!
