WASH YOUR HANDS & EXTRA FREE COINS PART 2 Hey RNC fans, Did you wash your hands today? Ill bet you will after reading this . ... We hear about viruses all the time but what makes them (and COVID19 in particular) so resilient? Viruses have one main goal and that is to survive and they are very good at it. The COVID19, like most viruses, consists of 3 key elements RNA, proteins & lipids. The RNA & proteins help the virus to duplicate itself. The lipids element is the viruss shield. It gives the virus the ability to be very greasy which increase the viruss survival chance. You will soon know why. Those 3 elements are connected to each other in glue-like connection and as long as they are connected, the virus is active and dangerous. But there is more. Remember I told you that viruses are like tiny greasy parts? This is why the virus can survive on various surfaces for a long time. How long? It depends on many things A. Type of surface according to some studies, surfaces like wood & fibers are potentially more dangerous since the virus can survive longer on them(up to 24 hours!).Teflon, steel & porcelain are considered safer. B. Temperature studies show that high temperatures can help kill this virus. This is why many health authorities advise having hot drinks with 80.6F (27C) degrees. C. How flat is the surface - the flatter the surface, the safer it is since viruses are less likely to survive there. skin is heaven for viruses its organic, far from being flat and its full of things that allow viruses to stick and remain on it very easily (viruses are like tiny greasy parts, remember?). If the virus is on your hand, its not the end of the world but when you touch your face, this is where things get pretty bad. The virus can penetrate your body through the eyes or mouth, get to your berating system and then it will start to replicate itself. Each new virus will create more new viruses. Do we touch faces often? Studies show that most people touch their face once every two to five minutes. Thats a lot which means the chance to get infected is pretty high. So now we know the enemy as well as how it operates. In my next post, I will explain how we can beat this enemy with soap as well as tell you how to perform a small experiment at home that will help you understand why water only is not enough. For now, wash your hands & enjoy those 300,000 FREE COINS! ~Genie
