Prior to 1864, the Jack card was called the Knave. Why did it change? Because the card abbreviation for it was Kn and people kept confusing it for the King card, and - we assume - that too many people were using them interchangeably and won waaaay too many games of Solitaire TriPeaks, so they changed it. Im sure someone suggested calling it the Knight until someone smarter pointed out that this would not solve the problem. ... What would YOU have called it? Because of this, were pretty sure that the Jack became known as the Knave Breaker, not so unlike these free WAVE BREAKERS Link

Poi is fermented taro root all mashed up. Its not easy on the tongue for first timers - the texture takes some getting used to - but once you do, the Islanders insist youll become a fan. Sounds like some of you enjoyed it as a kid, but don't much care for it now. Its also a great baby food! Gluten-free, easy to digest and high in both calcium and iron! Have you had poi? Yesterday was Canada Day and on Thursday its Independence Day in the U.S. That means this could safely be called Fireworks Week - but its not yet! Unfortunately, theres been a power outage on Tiki Island, and one of the Mini Tikis is walking around with a mini torch so he can see and if hes not careful, hell accidentally set off a bunch of fireworks. Recently we asked Club Members to nominate their Club Leader for "Best Club Leader" if they felt that their leader was incredibly special. We were deluged with nominations, and it was a labor of love to go through them all and narrow it down to a few... choosing the actual Best Leader was much more difficult. We had a lot of wonderful candidates, but one leader stood out. It's not just because she received the most nominations - she did - but because these nominations were co...nsistent in describing a true gem of a Leader. During the Tiki Island Music Craze where all the characters were trying their hands at creating albums, nothing was more annoying than the self-dubbed Steel Drum Sensations, The Streak Doublers. With no talent for writing songs, and no money to hire writers, their The Streak Doublers Present Steel Drum Hits! included parody hits to avoid having to pay royalties to the original artists. It featured Streak of Hearts, originally Queen of Hearts by Juice Newton, Le ...Streak, originally Le Freak by the late 7 disco band CHIC, Jumpin Jacks Stash, originally Jumpin Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones, plus a painful cover of Ray Stevens The Streak called The Streak Doubler. If ONLY they had learned the nuances of their instruments, the music might have been listenable. But they chose steel drums because they thought it would be easy to play them (its not) and refused to listen to anyone who offered constructive criticism. On the plus side, it did come with these FREE STREAK DOUBLERS, which you can use without ever having to listen to the album. Youre welcome Link
