I was a single mom working at a high school as a Librarian when I met a Substitute Teacher who held a class once a day in the school Library. One day, he noticed that I was playing Words With Friends on my phone and I convinced him to play with me. At the start of one game, he told me that if he won, I would have to go out with him. I played my hardest but thankfully lost. Almost a year to the day I lost, we got married. At first I thought Words With Friends would just be something to occupy my time as I LOVE word games. In the spring of 2016, I was diagnosed with stage 2a Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Needless to say, I was devastated. But I would save my Words With Friends games for my chemo treatments and times when I just didn't feel 100%. Playing the games took my mind off what was going on around me. - Cindy W.
