Hello FID friends,For the final season of FID (season 31), were looking to do something a little bit special. James (Wickerbasket) posted a thread on the forums a month ago suggesting a draft league, which had a very positive response from the community. Were hoping to get all the best users involved for a truly unique FID experience. Youll get the chance to play with users you havent played with before and play in the most competitive league to date!Weve been working in the background to iron out the issues raised and now in a position to started.When will the league matches be played?Well be using the France timeslot (Monday/Thursday @ 19:45 UTC) as it will cause the least disruption in comparison to other leagues and its at a time suitable for most European users. Realistically well only have enough users to fill a competitive 6 team league, but if theres enough for 12 teams we can change.What characters will be used?We propose using Community created characters for this league, funded by the 5 credits sitting in English FIDA (donations from other FIDAs are welcome!). This means everyone will have the same standard characters and its an even playing field. Once the draft has completed, well announce a date when users can create their characters and there will be some time during season 3 train special abilities.What happens next?Were inviting any users interested in managing a team to send their applications to me. As there will only be 6 spots available at first, well be selecting the 6 most experienced managers. Its up to you how much information you want to put in the message. Please send your applications by Sunday 3 October 23:59Well then send out a message announcing the managers and ask other users to fill out a form to enter as a player. Alright, let's look back to the previous season again and see how the competitions of the strongest countries ended. This is the post #3 of this series. In the last 15 seasons almost all the national competitions at Romania ended with one of these three teams as champions: Bandits, Drink Team and Diablo. F.C.M Iai won 1 Cup at Season 24. Warbol 56 was the first team ever to win a 2nd International Competition. It happened in the 5th season that the ITC was played, the Season 16.They got close to do it in the previous season, but at the end, Warbol lost the final to Loekie's Lions.But this match was specially incredible! :

A Champions League Final played at December, 31st! It should be already historical enough, but there is more.It was the 3rd time that the International Competitions was played and the players of Petroleum had no idea what they achieved...It was the first and only time ever that a team from Belarus won an ITC! :

These U18 qualifiers are incredible! there is not a single city team with full domination during the 7 matches already played.Perugia, at the Group 13, have the better results so far, 6 vitories, 1 draw.There is at least 8 groups where 3 or more cities are separated by only 4 or 5 points. :

Today the 9th round of the U18 NT Qualifiers was played. It's almost 100% defined and few things can change in the last round.Hungary, Portugal, Italy, Argentina, Russia, France, Belarus, China, Brazil and Slovakia are mathematically guaranteed.Spain, Belgium, Turkey are all leaders of their group, 3 points ahead of the 2nd place and playing against a NT with no more chances, so they are pretty close as well. :

We are also very close to know the next champions of the American ITCs. Tomorrow, the quarter-finals!The 5 teams from Brazil still fighting for the 3 tournaments. Chile have 4 teams between the top 24 of the continent. Argentina, 3 teams. Canada, Bolivia, Colombia, and Uruguay 2 teams each.
