Our beloved Magic Forest continues to develop. We hope that all Enchanters will get used to the updates very soon. Shmoo-reporter have gathered the latest news for you. We are expecting the following changes to come live next week 1. The old Wooden Bucket will be replaced by a new item with the same name in all crafts and tasks. 2. The Cooking Mortar will be replaced with the new Stone Mortar and Pestle in all crafts and tasks. 3. Kayas Gems will no longer be ne...eded for future tasks and adventures in the Magic Forest. Step by step Kayas Gems will be replaced with other standard resources in all crafts and tasks. 4. Kayas Gems wont be deleted from your Inventory. You still have time to spend them for crafting items and selling them at the market. 5. We are expecting some changes in the Dragon Quest Line. It will become more simple and affordable. Stay tuned to learn more. 6. You will no longer need an "Element" from the previous Dragon to craft the next tier. For example, you will not need a "Green Element" to craft an "Amber Dragon" etc. 7. The feeding price for dragons will be the same for your own land and when visiting neighbors, but from now on you will receive a Scale while feeding neighbors dragons too! 8. Dragon Elements will change into a box-type item - when opening it you will receive a bunch of different resources, including Magic Watering Cans and Premium Energy. There is also a chance to receive a dragon of the corresponding color. 9. The sell price of Celestial Scales will be decreased, however you will now be able to sell ALL Dragon Scales at Market 10. Trovant craft price goes down and you will be able to craft 6 Trovants at a time. 11. The Greenhouse limit rose to 3 per land. 12. You will no longer need a Lazy Spot to craft Tulips. 13. Magical Grove production time was reduced from 20 hours to 4 hours. 14. Fortune-Tellers House production time was reduced from 20 hours to 4 hours. One other thing we would like to address. We are aware that some players are experiencing issues with the Security Certificate. Have you heard already? The curse of the Abandoned Hut on the western edge of the Magic Forest has been broken! From now on any Enchanter level 40 and above can complete the building and turn the hut into the Good Deeds Department! Oh, what a wonderful adventure lies ahead! 1. Monday, June 18th, after 6 am EDT / 12 pm CEST all players level 40 and above will receive a new quest The Kindliest Enchanter. 2. Make sure that you have the 7th land expansion sector open, This i...s where the Abandoned hut you need is located. 3. Complete construction on the Abandoned Hut - it will immediately turn into a Good Deeds Department! 4. If youre still under level 40 - dont be sad! You can still complete the building, but you will have to come back for the daily tasks a bit later, when you grow up a bit! 5. You will get new tasks each day at reset (5 pm EDT / 11 pm CEST) and you will have 24 hours to complete them. 6. For completing the tasks you will get useful resources (magic scrolls, plants ets.) and a new currency, Good Deed Tokens, as a reward. 7. You will need the Good Deed Tokens to buy new land sectors on the shore. 8. You can also buy several items in the Shop with the tokens, for example Dawn Keys & Twilight Keys! 9. Check out the Good Deeds Department to see what tasks you have for today! Click the task icon to see the details. 10. Follow the timer - it will always tell you how much time you have left for the daily tasks. 11. Dont forget to come back to the Good Deeds Department to report the finished task and get the reward. 12. For completing the whole block of tasks you will get a reward chest. Hover your cursor over the chest icon to see your reward for good deeds. 13. All players under level 60 can complete up to 3 blocks of tasks a day. Starting at level 60 you can complete all 4 block of tasks and get a reward chest for each of them! 14. The reward chest automatically opens at reset (or with your next log in) or when you complete the last available block of tasks. 15. Friends of the Magic Forest, Summer has come, the Sun is shining brightly and Sunflowers are growing. Shmoos have found a strange and mysterious structure in the Forest and soon a new adventure will begin! 1. Adventure "Lumen's Story" will begin Friday, June 8th at 5 am EDT / 11 am CEST 2. All players level 18+ can participate 3. There are 2 Quest lines. "Lumen's Story" 1-15 and Rune Magic 1-5... 4. The first task in the main quest line Lumen's Story 1/15, must be completed by June 14th 5pm EDT / 11pm CEST (Reset) 5. All other tasks will each start with a new 28 day timer 6. In the Quest Lumen's Story 1/15 you will need to purchase and place "Lumen's Dwelling on your land. This building will be home to a new creature! 7. Lumen's Dwelling can be upgraded to Level 7 using the "Moon Amulet", "Sun Shard" and "Sun Amulet" 8. Find "Sunflowers" while clearing any ground spawn on your own land 9. After Quest Lumen's Story 7/15, you can also find Sunflowers when collecting from your Mana Sources. 10. The Sunflower crop has a 7.5 minute grow timer and gives a "Picked Sunflower" upon harvest. 11. Collecting your Lumen's Dwelling gives (1) Mirror 12. You can craft "Shaman's Owl" in the Wonder Workshop. You will need (6) Picked Sunflower, (1) Mirror & (50) Mana 13. Shaman's Owl eats (1) Frog & (60) Mana at home and 1 Frog when feeding neighbors 14. Sell your adult Shaman's Owl to receive (1) Moon Amulet 15. Chop down any Trees on your land for a random chance to find a "Sun Rune" 16. You will also receive Sun Runes as a reward for completing tasks from the "Rune Magic" quest line 17. Upgrade your Lumen's Dwelling to receive the Rune Magic quests, beginning with upgrade level 2. 18. Rune Magic 1/5 and 2/5 has a 2 day timer, each of the following tasks gives 3 days to complete, so make sure you watch your timers closely! 19. A new, wonderful animal "Sun Spirit" can be crafted in the Wonder Workshop from (3) Sun Runes, (1) Mirror and (3) Grapevines 20. Sun Spirit eats (2) Grapevines and (40) Mana at home and (2) Grapevines at neighbors. Sell an adult Sun Spirit to receive (1) Sun Shard 21. "Sun Amulet" can be crafted in the Wonder Workshop with (4) Picked Sunflower, (1) Sun Shard and (3) Hammers 22. Successfully completing Quest Lumen's Story 14/15 will reward you with a special animal "Lumen" Sell Lumen to receive another in return. 23. You will also receive a special "Growth Transformation Scroll" as reward for completion of Lumen's Story 14/15 that you can use to enchant your Level 7 Lumen's Dwelling and transform it into a special pen for Lumen 24. It is so hot in the Magic Forest! Just the right time to prepare some lemonades, go for a picnic and catch some butterflies! It seems that not only butterflies love fruity and refreshing drinks! Lets try and tame a Motley! 1. A Juicy Adventure will begin on May 24th, at 5 am EDT (11 am CEST) and will last till June 1st, 5 pm EDT (11 pm CEST). Every player starting from Level 18 will be able to take part in this adventure! 2. The main quest line A Juicy Adventure con...sists of 7 tasks. 3. After completing A Juicy Adventure 5/7 you will gain access to a special chapter Winged Flock. 4. For finishing the Winged Flock chapter you will receive a Motley Nest - a special pen for a new creature. 5. Collect income from your Shacks and Cozy Shacks for a chance to find a Lemon Bush - new summer plant! 6. Harvest Lemon Bushes to receive Lemons. 7. Enchant Shmoos and buildings with different Magic Scrolls (Summer Enchantments, Spring Enchantments, etc.) to test your luck and get an Orange Bush. 8. Harvest Orange Bushes to receive Oranges. 9. There is another plant that you can craft in the Wonder Workshop - a Lime Bush. To craft it you will need 4 Lemons, 2 Frogs and 2 Magic Dust. 10. Harvest Lime Bushes to receive Limes. 11. All bushes grow for 10 minutes. 12. Take 1 Lemon, 1 Orange and 1 Lime to craft a Citrus Mix in the Wonder Workshop. 13. Save up 5 Citrus Mixes to open them and see what you will get! 14. When opening a stack of 5 Citrus Mixes you have a chance to get the following items one of the collectible butterflies (Colorful Butterfly, Forest Butterfly, Tropical Butterfly, Beautiful Butterfly or Meadow Butterfly), a scroll of Spring Enchantment, Frogs, Packages and Boxes. You can never guess, what is in inside until you open! 15. Collect all five types of butterflies and trade it for a new colorful creature - a Motley! Trade in cost = 10 Magic dust. 16. Motley eats Mana and Frogs. It gets hungry in 18 minutes. 17. Motley has 10 levels. For selling a grownup Motley you will get gold. 18. During this adventure you will be asked to sell some Motleys. But no worries! You will get at least one Motley with the Motley Nest! 19. All resources will stop dropping when you finish the last task. 20.
