Meet Joe, a young man from Britain whose organizational skills are second to none! His plant knowledge is great, but he still needs help improving in certain areas. If you hire him and help develop his skills through a series of new quests, a new world will unravel right before your eyes. Plants previously unseen will suddenly pop up, initiating you in the wonderful world of foraging the most ancient of human occupations. Successfully foraging to find good wild plants requi...res both of you to collaborate - you spot them, and Joe will examine them and decide if theyre good or not. Every day, you will find Wild Mushrooms and Nettles growing on the land around your farm. Each species has its own favorite place to grow on, and in time you will learn where to find them. So, happy hunting! :) Also, Joe will take some of the workload off of you 30 of each crop so that your Barn doesnt fall below a certain quantity? NO PROBLEM. He will happily plant them for you. Best of all, you can save your plans for future use, so you dont have to create them each time. A field full of diverse crops is literally 3 clicks away. We thought about how to implement a Harvester in the game for a while, but they were big, ugly and unable to squeeze between the things you have in your farms. So we went to Woodburn University to ask for advice, and they recommended Joe. We will now let you discover all the new things through the new quests. More info is included in the News section and articles about Joe. This update is the last major one required for the more land update, as it includes many of its necessary functions. It is in a beta stage, so bugs might appear when planting and harvesting with Joe, a few more features will appear, and things will be adjusted, based on your feedback. We hope you will enjoy the new activities and see this update as a sign of things to come, and how we intend to implement your most requested features. Thank you for your support! Changes and Clarifications regarding the Train After reading your messages, here are some changes and clarifications to address your concerns Changes Added possibility to put Greenhouses, Brick Mills, Dutch Mills and installed Sprinklers in your Warehouse. Now you can temporarily make room for a Craft Shack on your farm to make the required lumber. Increased the accommodation period from 1 week to 2 weeks, and during next Competitions Edition we will start the trial without the Sell button in the Barn. Then, we will put the Sell button back when the Competitions end, and see what your opinion is about it, how you use the Train and how we could make it better. Next Competitions Edition will be the 1 year anniversary, so ALL PRIZES WILL DOUBLE! Decreased the necessary Bonus to earn a ticket from 6 50 points, so you will more easily earn Train Tickets. Modified the bonus points veggies, fruits 3 points; processed goods 4 points. Increased asking for Nails from 1 2 Clarifications You will still be able to use the Barn and store things in it to make recipes and processed goods. Barn will not disappear! Nothing changes there. Eggs are used in special recipes that require large eggs, such as Panettone and Spanish Tortilla. Add them to an existing Chicken Coop or buy a coop first. To get the Easter Egger for free, finish the Easter Eggs Hunt by completing a few daily quests! There are 7 days of them, and the contest is over in 14 days. All Aboard the Little Train! Make Holidays Toys in the Craft Shack and place them on the Little Train. Once the train has all it's toy passengers, it departs to it's final destination. Thats a magical place that is obviously far, far away. There are 14 toys to discover. Holidays Toys are made from Pine Lumber, Oak Lumber and a Toy Blueprint. Each new type of toy you discover gives you 5 Power, 2 and 1 Toy Blueprint. They also sell for a nice profit!... Once completed, the Little Train can be placed on your farm or in your Warehouse. You can get Toy Blueprints from friends, or buy them from the OPs tab in the store. Its the blue button next to the close button. - Added very serious and informative descriptions for multiple items in the Shop. - Various UI improvements. - Added a way to turn of Holidays theme song for all contests, from the candy contest popup. - Now the Cosy Snowman and Winter Scarecrow are animated. - Now you can place the Little Train on your farm, once completed, or in the Warehouse. - Fixed a bug where the Craft Shack and Kitchen did not automatically resume production when having a queue and the farmer got the materials required. - Fixed a bug that didnt displayed the remaining days for the 3 contests correctly.
