While we all wish it was easier to edit the assets in my new games, Steam Workshop is finally here to at least make it indirectly possible! You can now "subscribe" to a whole range of mods and have them automatically show up in your game by choosing the alternate "Play Modded" launch option:Freebie Link only is this easier for users, but it's also fairer for the developer if all of this happens within Steam - where paying customers have earnt the right to customize a game they supported to this point. Once you get comfortable with it, you may even find yourself uploading your own mods! If enough people support the content, it could become a mutually beneficial way of breathing new life into the game for years to come. May I take this opportunity to publicly thank IngoH for his tireless efforts in taking us this far. This is by no means my way of giving up on the project, as I have plenty of official developments in the pipeline as well.:

As one of my most popular games, Super City was supposed to be the jewel in the crown (or the last infinity stone?) of my PC remasters. However, a side effect of its legal issues is that Steam also passed on the opportunity to publish it. Instead of letting all that hard work go to waste, or struggling to market it on some unrelated platform, I've made the difficult decision to give it away for FREE as a Christmas treat! You can download the zip from my own website right now like old times, and enjoy this higher-resolution, controller-supporting, multi-player version of the game. It is still possible to then side-load it into Steam via their "Add to library" function, and even enjoy it on Deck as intended so long as you head to the settings and "force compatibility" with Proton. I even placed the intended artwork in the "Icons" folder if those are any use:Freebie Link course, giving away one of my hottest properties shoots a hole in my business that I would have preferred to avoid - and the chances of me remaking it in 3D have dropped as low as the price. If you get any pleasure out of this release at all, I'd appreciate it if you could just pick up one of the other 2D Steam releases on sale and leave a positive review. That way, I may even take a more relaxed attitude to this version (and this version alone) being modded and redistributed. Some will weaponize this generosity against me and argue that my life's work "should have always been 100% free" - but as we get closer to the end game, my priority is the preservation of content that may otherwise be lost forever...:

It's a poignant moment for me, as the ads that paid for my old games to be free on mobiles for the past 12 years have finally been switched off. After exhausting every possibility, I no longer see any way of running live ads on a dead engine. The good news is that the games themselves are still alive and well, as every year since 2018 has threatened to be their last too! But if I'm being greedy, it sure would have been nice to keep them earning until the end - because their popularity still hasn't diminished in any way. Before you celebrate the improved user experience and assume this doesn't affect you, bear in mind that there's no logical reason why those games shouldn't be paid-only from now on. Even though Unity's ads are much more reliable and go halfway to filling in the gaps, paying for content is still likely to become the norm. If it doesn't, it's only because my suicidal eccentricity is holding back the tide for "old time's sake"!Which is all to say that any talk of my life's work not being worth $3 will be even more poorly received at this time, so please keep it to yourself if you're that way inclined. On a positive note, I must thank the millions of people who played the free versions and let those ads pay the way - as it really did change my life at the exact moment it was needed most.:

A "Diving Headbutt" is the first (but not the last!) new flying attack we've seen since the game launched. As in real life, it's an awkward one to land. It falls more than it jumps, and it's the only move that lands a body length short of the victim. But some nice bleeding from each head helps to sell it!:

As of the latest v1.2.5 update, higher end PCs are now free to expand to the cast limit to 50 characters in the ring at the same time! That was always indirectly possible via the "Surprise Intervals" match format, but now it's officially possible before your eyes. I could push it even further, but it's the concept of wrestling itself that could not cope with more! That's something to look forward to if other free-roaming adventures come to the platform, which is looking more :

While v1.2.6 goes live on every other platform in time for All Out, I'm working on some bonus content to make the delays more palatable for Nintendo gamers. Glass bottles are returning to 3D, and with more detail than we've ever seen previously - such as contents that you can visibly see going down! When holding a beverage in either hand, you simply taunt to pour it into your mouth. And it's no empty gesture either, as milk & water literally restore your health in the middle :

I don't expect to set the world on fire 8 years after the game was originally released, but Weekend Warriors will finally bring my unique brand of MMA to PC in February! I've always had mixed feelings about mods, as only a game's biggest fan would dig that deep - and yet like a wrestling fan jumping over the barrier, that passion can do more harm than good if it's not contained! One compromise that could bridge the gap is "Thunderstore", which overlays mods on top of an existing Steam installation instead of undermining it. Over the past 10 years, I've prided myself on revolutionizing how much free content people can expect from a game. Ladders are at least coming back as furniture with a unique climbing mechanism, but adding an actual ladder match would be like making a whole other platform game! Pretending it takes a long time for a professional athlete to climb a ladder has never appealed to me - especially in a game, where the combat becomes somewhat real. The return of blocking will be one of the biggest changes to the gameplay post-launch, so I'm not rushing it out just yet. Instead of fumbling for a specific button, you now simply hold back - which is much more intuitive (and in line with what we already expect from games like Tekken and Street Fighter). You can also fend off a few stray shots randomly if you're content to rely on luck, which at least creates a wider range of reactions to being mauled. It's even possible to :
