The strength of your army can be greatly increased by hiring monsters.
Here are some tips to help you better understand this feature:

• Dragon Empire are required to hire monsters.
• Once you press the Fort icon, you can view the list of mercenaries available for hiring.
• Monsters form constant part of your army and do not have an expiry date.
• The amount of monsters you can add to the march depends on hero’s and/or captain’s “Dominance†parameter.
• You should research relevant technologies in the Academy in order to be able to hire mercenaries. Link

New type of troops was added to the game - the militia.
Unlike the regular troops that needs to be trained in the Fort, the militia is always available in unlimited quantities.
• The amount of militia, which can be taken into the march, is limited by the leadership of the hero or captains.
• You do not need to spend a game currency or resources to use the militia.
• Militia warriors can be selected in the march sending interface.
• The militia cannot be revived in the Temple.
• The militia does not participate in the defense of your city.
• The militia can be sent as reinforcements to the ally.
• As a reinforcement the militia defends the city of the ally. Link

Attacking an enemy clan capital is a serious step which requires preparation. If you decided to attack another clan capital, here are important things you should know

• In order to directly attack a clan capital, all enemy forts must be defeated.
• Once a fort is destroyed, it will be impossible to restore its walls for the next 4
• Once all forts have been destroyed, the capital city will be protected by an emergency Shield of Peace for 2 if it was charged by clan leader or superior.
• Enemy players will be able to send reinforcements to the clan capital in order to protect it from incoming attacks, once all forts have been destroyed.
• You can only attack the capital after the emergency Shield of Peace expires. Link

The Forge allows you to craft equipment. The higher the level of the building, the faster your item will craft. Equipment will make your hero and captains more powerful and will allow you to attack stronger monster squads that yield more reward than before.
• Materials needed to create equipment can be found inside Crypts and Chests.
• You can combine any 4 materials of the same type into 1 material of higher rarity. The more rare the material - the higher the quality of the equipment created.
• You can improve your combining abilities at the Academy by researching technologies.
• In order to create item, you will need 4 specific materials. Crafting cost and crafting speed depend on the materials that you have chosen. The more materials that you use differ in quality (color), the less are the odds to craft equipment of higher rarity - per cent chances of crafting an item of a specific color diminish (rise) the more materials (out of 4) are of lower (higher) rarity.
• You can make the crafting process faster by using speed ups or by asking for help in your Clan.
• Each piece of equipment has a durability. The maximum durability of item decreases by 1 after each repair.
• You can use enchantments and gems on any piece of equipment in order to improve the item’s bonuses. Link

A clan allows players to unite in a big group, under one coat of arms and with one goal in mind.
? At the beginning of your journey, you will be allocated to an automatically generated clan. You can manually quit a generic clan, find a player-created clan or create your own one.
? Building and upgrading a clan capital yields your clan the territory on the world map. The territory expands when you build new forts and upgrade them and your capital. Enemies can neither open portals on your clan’s territory nor teleport to it.
? A clan may be seen as a protective shield from most enemy attacks due to inter-clan diplomacy relations. Link
