How this works - look into tank construction Let's forget about all historic remark and see to classic construction of the modern tank. Three main solutions:... 1. History about -34 and heroes-soldier - -34 fought off that fascists whole two weeks. Sometimes tanks can be left like a position to fire because of impassable dirt, snow, and swamp... That's how one T-34 was left in the swamp under one village in Russia. It was a fierce battle here, German forces aggressively attacked. The part of the crew was dead, the only tank which survived in this battle should have been evacuated. Just two tankers, staff sergeant Sokolov and crewma...n Chernyshenko, came to them to keep the tank in safe and don't give it to the enemy. One of these tankers was seriously injured on the first day. Almost two weeks 18 years old crewman was the only one against German forces. Supply of weapons and shells for the tank was over but tankers continued to throw grenades to enemies. Don't forget that it was winter so soldiers were hungry, injured and frozen. After 12 days of fire and attempts to take the crew alive and the vechicle intact, Germans understood that this idea was bad. And Soviet forces were arrived and evacuated the tank and all crew. Myths and truth about a tank of this week -34 Myth 1 - incredibly reliability We wrote about it early, T-34 wasn't reliabily from the outset. Long testing and technical refinement have led to really reability exemplars in 1944. Tanks didn't burn in the first battle and worked like a Swiss watch. ... Myth 2 - miracle weapon The target range of this tank was really higher than enemy's tanks but it's not always important. Armor of it can protect a crew from usual shells but not from armor-piercing. So -34 was serious power on the battlefield but is not a panacea. Myth 3 - helplessness against "Tiger" After the new German development, somebody told that -34 can't stand against it. Well, Tiger has too good front armor. But a few T-34 can get together against one Tiger and encircle him. More strong shells were developed after it so this situation wasn't too long. War myth from World War ll. One veteran remembered about joust. The reason is simple - we wanted to eat. We sat in the trench and saw duck under heads. Machine gunner started to shoot, from the german side had been heard machine gun too. A few ducks fell to the neutral zone, we with machine gunner went after them. But two soldiers ran to ducks too. We ran up to ducks at the same time and each of us grabbed two of them. On the ground between us lay a few more birds. We rushed at them, Germans rushed to meet us. A fight broke out between us. We had nothing but ducks in hands so we thrashed each other by birds until we were tired. After that, we stopped, considered free birds and divided them with the enemy in silence. Remember the history of -34 Continue the T-34 history and talk about the start of production. 17 March 1940, tanks were shown to leadership Kremlin. After it, the tests of tanks started. Tanks have been subject to shoots of the armor-piercing and high-explosive projectile. At the end of the year, it was released 116 tanks....
