VERY excited to announce that Bobblehead College Football is coming to android! New version of the game will hit the google play store this week on Wednesday 12/14. Lots of great updates in this version of the game as well with blocked kicks and tons of performance optimizations for all platforms. An Android version has been on list since we launched BCF over 5 years ago and we're finally making it happen! Very happy to see this come out!:

Bug fix version released today with a few major bugs that have been in for a while resolved - the biggest one is the qb kneel playcall won't freeze the game now! Also In this release we updated:* Fixed the issue where calling qb kneel would cause the game to hang* Fixed 2 issues causing the game to randomly freeze during on-field plays. * Fixed the academic buildings showing up incorrectly when they're under construction* Moved the chat window over slightly so iOS user

Sorry to everyone who was looking forward to this weekend's BFL. We made a mistake deploying servers after the last update that caused issues with BFL and we weren't able to recover from the errors. We have fixed the issue so we should be good moving forward but it still sucks we weren't able to play for another championship this weekend!Everyone who was seeded into the BFL has been given 1000 gold as an apology for screwup. New Version of the game released today. The big news for this update is that rewarded monument buildings are available again - you can now select them in the store when you win them. We also fixed a few other minor campus bugs and also fixed a bug that caused the game to hang during loading. But - most importantly - monument buildings are back available!

New Game Update rolling out Wednesday night. The Game may be down for a few minutes Wednesday night while the update is being deployed but no major outage is expected. The big news in this update is that we think we have everything done to resume BFL championships. In 2 weeks- on Sunday 11/7 - we are doing a 'test' BFL. New Game Update is Available! The update is deployed to Facebook and to iOS (Apple appstore rollout can take a few hours but should be available to everyone soon). In this update we fixed a lots of bad bugs! We still have a long backlog of bugs and features we're working on but with this update we got all high priority bugs resolved. We are still waiting on apple approval on re-submit. Based on past review timelines we should get approval Monday sometime - but, since it's a holiday I'm not sure how that factors into things. Assuming we get approved Monday we'll push the new build out Monday night and have it available Tuesday morning. I'm super pissed - apple rejected app submission so we are fixing the issue they found (but didn't find previously) and we will re-submit today as soon as it's ready. 1-ish Day till the new version of Bobblehead comes out! We have submitted the new app to Apple for review but it has not been approved yet. We have to release the new mobile version at the same time as the facebook version so we are blocked on this at the moment. As part of the rebuild version we gave the roster screen a big facelift and it opens up some new possibilities for the future too. Here's a shot of what the screen will look like. I have a somewhat big announce on progress of the game and my involvement in Longshot. As of today I am working fulltime at longshot games until the game is done. I have left my day job so that I can focus on Longshot and get the game completed - depending on the success of the release that may become a permanent decision or I might have to find side work, but it's exciting to be 1000% focused on Bobblehead for the foreseeable future. Plus, David and other staff are all continuing to work late hours and burning the midnight oil as much as possible to get the game done. With all of the additional effort we are putting in we are on track for a mid-May release. Theres still a lot of work left to get the rebuild version done but we are finally making the progress we need to in order to deliver this May.In last update I talked about that we had 2 big problems to solve. We have found a solution to one of the problems - although its requiring us to rework alot of the art, characters and animations but we have a solution and as soon as that work is done Ill be posting some screenshots of what the new on-field characters look like and maybe get some videos posted too shortly. I'll be posting these out over the next weeks and will be much more active on Facebook and posting updates.I know it's been frustrating for everyone that we keep pushing the date back on release so come hell or high water we will get a version out in mid-May and for me personally its nice to be back making progress in chunks instead of a dribble. I know everyone wants the game out and nobody wants that to happen more than me so thanks for hanging with us while we get this new version done and Im looking forward to finally getting this in the hands of everyone thats been waiting!

Hello everyone. David, Josh and the team have been slaving away to get the new version of the game ready and we have an update for this week.The unfortunately reality is that after getting the game close to done last month we discovered during testing there were several problems running the game on older computers and mobile devices. And, most of players have older devices so we can't release the game without fixing these issues first! After digging into the problems we discovered 4 major issues that are causing us to rebuild several parts of the game and it's taking us way way way longer than expected. Honestly - it sucks, we thought we were done and then it was like giant punch in the gut when we discovered this. For the last 4 weeks we've been fixing these issues but right now we have only resolved 2 of the 4 major problems and it looks like we still have several weeks before the game will be ready.Next week we should know how long it's going to take to actually finish the game and have it playable on older platforms and we should be able to announce a definitive release date. In the mean time - I wanted to show off some more of the updated art and the style you will see in the updated game:

We are making progress in getting the game ready - still have a lot to do on the iOS version but we're inching closer. As soon as we can we'll get a date set and push out the update as fast as we can. One thing that we needed to do as part of this game update is replace all art in the game.
