We've almost completed the phasing out of timer resets. In place of timer resets we've introduced two new Credit Store features 1. Double XP. Limited to being purchased three times per day. 2. Mission Selector. Limited to being purchased once per week.... This is designed to be a more balanced system than the previous one where all crimes had unlimited timer resets which gave too much of an advantage to players willing to spend hundreds of credits in a single sitting. The Airport timer reset has stayed on as a tactical feature in its new form the Instant Travel perk. This is a big change for Gangster Nation which has had timer resets for most of its 15 year life but we think it's the right change for the future of Gangster Nation. It's with great sadness that this morning we have heard the news of the passing of Gangster Nation player John, known in-game as Monkey, on the 22nd of February 2020 at the young age of 33. John was a well known and loved member of community for many years and will be sorely missed by his friends. He played a bold character in Gangster Nation and will never be forgotten. thoughts are with John's family and friends. Out of respect for John's family and friends we won't share any further details here publicly but if you wish to leave a comment on John's obituary page or send flowers to John's Celebration of Life, please contact one of his in-game friends for further details. Rest in peace John, 25th January 1987 - 22nd February 2020.
