Finally, to wrap up Into the Dead 2's 3rd Anniversary celebration the development team would like to thank Community All-Star Darren Kirsch. Darren has been a major part of the community from the beginning and a massive help to players old and new. Last year, when we released the weapon skins feature we included his initials for the Militia HK-5A Tundra skin. Thank you Darren!

A special mention for Special Weapons Category which came in a close second. Ilya, one of senior programmers, had this to say It's always a great pleasure to work on Special Weapons. They're singled out for a good reason, which is their unique functionality. For example, the Aftershock was so interesting. I teamed up with creative and motivated artists and was able to program the weapon so it became a one of a kind oddity. With a great look and visual effects too. It actually burns zombies' skin while the charge is jumping between targets!

Its Into the Dead 2s 3rd Anniversary week! Today developers discussed their favorite weapon type and Shotguns are a team favorite! They make a loud noise, blast zombies back, and kill multiple enemies in one shot. There's nothing more badass than a shotgun. Its Into the Dead 2s 3rd Anniversary week! Devs took part in a poll to discuss their favorite Into the Dead stories and it looks like TEMPEST was the all-round winner. Possibly most ambitious story event, Tempest really pushed the boundaries of the game and introduced three great new characters to the Into the Dead 2 Universe Kayla, Hector, and Mable. The Dobermann and pup event is live! What makes this companion unique is their ability to find items on the battlefield! This includes ammo, knives, and grenades to keep you fully loaded against the undead! They also have a chance to rescue you from death once during a run. Run with them in this special event!
