Hello everyone, we have great news about trains. We will be adding an underground layer that can be used for trains so there will be additional space for rails. Trains can go underground and back using tunnels. Huge cities with lot of buildings and roads will be hard to navigate with Rails so it will be possible to construct subway stations above the ground that connect with trains underground. Hello everyone, as you all know, we are hard at work on getting trains out to you all. Today we'd like to share with you an image of the coming train factory and few tidbits of information about it. The train factory will be a really large Building (our biggest yet) at 6x3 map tiles. It will cost in-game money and energy. So everybody will be able to construct it.... Rails and trains will be produced in this train factory. Rails will work a little bit differently than roads. Roads cost some money and can be placed easily on the map where Rails needs to be produced in the train factory first before they can be placed on the map. Hi everyone,
tomorrow we plan to update the game with economy changes. You can read details in game in news article from January 3 Luxury apartments will be added also.
We want inform you before update about one important change. The recommended price in shops will be changed, because of higher influence of product quality on selling price.
With this change a lot of shops would stop selling, so we will change all shop prices to recommended prices during the update, so the shops will continue selling.

Hi,
we want to announce that we need to move the next game update (World map), which was scheduled on tomorrow, to August 18th. The time of update will be 2: PM CET. We already tested the conversion of current data to World map and the game will be turned off only for 3 minutes.

We had some technical problems during the night and the game was not accessible for all players. The problem was fixed. All buildings were producing during that time, there was only problem with game access.

Hello everyone!
We have now added some new features for you guys to play with, which you will find below:
1. Level 47 (new product - Trucks) - We have finally added level 47 with Trucks. It will be hard to produce trucks, but it can be sold for a very good price also. To produce trucks you will need 8x tires, 1x engine, 6x steel, 5x plastic, 1x GPS navigation and 1x radio. These trucks are different from the trucks that are used for contracts, so no, you cant build contract trucks threw this method, these can only be sold in shops. The players with enough experience for level 47, will be in this new level automatically.
2. Building market bans - we have added a script for banning players automatically who are abusing the building market. The player can still play the game, but they will not be able to sell any buildings on the market. This is only for players that attempt to cheat (multi account trading), we will not ban player who did nothing bad.
3. City rent prices - In My company / Rent we added possibility to set rent prices for specific city,. The option to set rent for all cities is possible too.
4. Borehole limit - we lowered the limit of boreholes. We are not counting boreholes from bonus or private cities. The new limit is 3 The reason of doing this is that players used boreholes to claim land and other players do not have space for constructing buildings.
5. Welcome message - we change the behavior of welcome message and now it will be shown not only once per day, but every time you leave the game for while.
6. Change log - this is a new way for us involving communication with the players who wants to know more about the changes we make in the game. We will write here information about problems we are currently solving or small improvements that we are doing regularly. We will release news like we did before, but not everything is big enough that we need to write news about. This will help show that the team is active and making fixed and changes that all players can follow and keep an eye on.
7. Global shop price history - we added a table with information about the prices that the user set last time.
8. Building list / bus stop info - in the building list, we added for bus stops information how many buses are stopping on each bus stop.
9. Fuel selection fix for contracts - we have fixed the problem with diesel selection for contracts. Now the last used fuel is selected as default and if you do not have it in the warehouse, the second fuel will be selected and if this fuel is not available too, the option No fuel will be selected.
1 Auction fix - after some time for some players it was not possible to bid on buildings. It is fixed now.
11. Small change to Notifications - we added prices for some notifications Link

just a quick Message here to inform you all about the next game update we have coming on February 22nd 18:3
We have combined two updates worth of stuff in this one with lots of new features and fixes! You can find more information here at new "Coming Soon" page of the Wiki which we are updating regularly Link
There is one important change in the Marketing mechanic. Currently, After activating a marketing campaign, the recommended sales price for products in shops is increased and you'll be able to sell products for a higher price.
After Update #18, the influence of the marketing will not be in the recommended sale prices anymore, it will be considered bonus income. So you'll still have the same income, it's just that you wont need to change prices after a marketing campaign is activated or deactivated.
The benefit of this change is that after a marketing campaign ends, your shop's won't stop selling products as it does now.
However, this change does have one negative issue. When you currently activate a marketing campaign you get a bigger sales price in the shop, After this update, You'll need to lower your selling prices or your shops will stop selling because the Marketing bonus is not in this recommended Calculation.

1. New programmer - We have some great news for the development of Investor City, we've just added a new developer to team! This will allow us to better handle development and bug fixing without causing large disruptions to either of these two important areas any more.
2. Next game update:
a) Fuel requirements for trucks and buses - Starting from the next update, buses and trucks will now require fuel. They can still operate without fuel, but you wont get the bonuses without it. We will be increasing the amount of oil in the mines also to help supply the new Oil demands this will cause.
b) Mining maps specialization - We've decided to try and put more purpose to each mining maps locations. So now each mining map unlocked will have special bonuses to them for each resource. For example, Klondike will be rich in gold, alot more gold can be found in the mines in that city.
c) Spanish language - we will launch the Spanish language support. Thanks Sona and Felipe Álvarez Blanco!
3. Upgrade plan - We created new page in Wikipedia with information about upcoming game updates Link
4. Auction fix - after winning a building auction, the new building was not fully operational in some cases right after auction end. This was fixed.
5. Lag and server slowdowns - Yes, we're quite aware of the occasional lag spikes and server issues, in the coming weeks we'll be adding more optimizations to try and reduce this or even eliminate it entirely.

Dnes sme do hry pridali dalsie upravy:
1. Vyroba - na obrazovku sme pridali stlpec kvalita a upravili casy vyroby, aby brali do uvahy vsetky bonusy v budove.
2. Financna bilancia - pridali sme marketingove naklady + rozdelili kategoriu ostatne na 3 podsekcie
3. Location index - od dnes prepocitavame LI aj pre neaktivne budovy. Hraci nahlasili nezrovnalosti pri mape LI.
4. Denna odmena - hracom, prihlasujucim sa automaticky sa nezobrazovala denna odmena. Bolo nutne sa odhlasit a prihlasit, co uz dnes nie je potrebne
5. Oprava bonusu na finan?nom oddeleni, kde nezapocitavalo bonus veducich zamestnancov (len vizualne)
6. Zoznam budov - do filtra sme pridali Rozostavane budovy, takze tieto budovy je od dnes lahko mozno najst.
