Put a shield on for a couple of hours, have a cup of tea, some beans on toast, come back to it as the shield runs out. Now we're now being attacked, so defence boost on, change your commander heros around so you get the best outcome from their skills, reinforce anyone thats getting attacked, thats when the speed boost comes into play. Get to your team mates before the enemy does.. After the war you'll need resources, you should always save a certain amount of resource crates in your bag, now is the time to open them and rebuild. Staying Alive without Shields! Its hard to survive in Age of Z, especially when daily shields get expensive. But play smart, and you can live a shield-free lifestyle! Just follow these 3 simple rules:... Keep resources under the Depot Limit. Tap your Depot building, then tap Details, and check out the Food/Oil/Steel/Mineral Protection numbers listed. These are the amount of each resource that will be protected from attacks. If your resources are below these numbers, any enemies that attack you and win will get NOTHING except the few uncollected resources outside your castle wall. When you notice youre at your Depot Limit, just stop Gathering until youve spent some of those resources on upgrades or recruitment. Now youre thinking, But I need to save resources for big upgrades! If you keep upgrading your Depot along with your City. Try not collecting Quest Rewards until you need a resource boost. Collect all your Daily Quest rewards each day, and use those for necessary daily expenses like building troops, healing, and Alliance Donations. NEVER open Resource Crates except right before you need them for a large upgrade. Keep troops under the Hospital Limit. Tap your Hospital building, then Details, then check the Max Wounded number. Thats the max amount of Wounded you can take before your troops start dying outright. When you are attacked, your troops default to Wounded. They will ONLY die if your Hospital is full. So keep any troops in your city below this limit, and you will be kill-proof no matter how often you are attacked. Use the Alliance Fort to hide troops. Some enemies arent looking for resources. They dont even really want to hurt you. But they DO want to get their Kills ranking up, and theyll take a hit at any smaller target with troops to kill. So, hide your troops in the Alliance Fort! This advice is a MUST if youve recruited above your Hospital Limit, but its also helpful if youre so small that your troops arent dying, but you just cant keep up with the cost of healing every day. Go ahead and hide ALL your troops in the fort. If enemies Scout and see an empty castle with no resources to steal or troops to kill, theyll generally get bored and leave you alone. Even if they decide to hit anyway, they wont deal any lasting damage! So, go ahead and embrace the shield-free lifestyle! If only because it means you can sleep past your alarm every day

Bubble Trap Guide What is a bubble trap? A bubble trap is when a player is getting timed attack by many enemies and the player uses his peace shield during the last few seconds before the first attack hits. After the half/majority of the enemies bounce off the shield if there are still enemies marching toward the player, the player then deactivates the peace shield (through sending a scout at any other city) and allows the remaining enemy marches to attack his/her ci...ty. That way the majority of the enemies in the time attack will not be participating and the attack will be easier to defend. Timing The bubble is best used at 5 seconds or less before the first attack hits, that way enemies will have only a small amount of time to coordinate recalls. If they do not recall they are susceptible to huge losses if the bubble trap is done successfully. If you have not tried bubble trapping before or have network/lag issues maybe its best to not bubble trap or pop the shield a little earlier maybe at the 10 second mark. After many enemies bounce it is very important to be fast when deactivating your peace shield to catch any stragglers. Reinforcements Depending on the situation, reinforcements should not be sent until after the fight starts (through speed reinforcing). That way enemies have no way out except a withdrawl card or by waiting until the battle ends. Sending reinforcements early may scare off the enemy to recall early. For really large time attacks against you or an ally, reinforcements should be sent early, if you think the reinforcements will not scare off the enemy. Why bubble trap? We want enemies to attack us if we know we will win the fight, it is the safest way to kill enemy troops by having them attack you. We will most likely suffer less losses or no losses at all, while enemies have the potential of losing half their army. One nice bubble trap can cripple players from time attacks for weeks. NOTE Bubble trapping is only applicable when enemies attacking have variations in their arrival time that are above two to three seconds depending on how fast your reaction is. At least 3 seconds to be safe.
