Hello to everyone who gets excited about burning rubber on the track! Some of you might have experienced a situation whereas you would not find anyone to compete against in the Multiplayer mode. Its happening because we had to delete older races calculated based on the previous formula. This problem should be over tomorrow, May 14.... By the way, were also gonna reset single player records as well some time soon to let them build up based on the scoring system. Sorry about that, guys. Whats up tandem riders!? We checked out the videos you posted last night and realized that its time we add some more challenges to the game since you seem to be quite experienced in tandem drifting. Hello, drifters! Did you notice there is a new cam view available when you switch between cameras during replay? If you have, I bet youve been enjoying it. If you havent, you should immediately check it out.... Now, the Multiplayer mode and XDS races in Drift Racing 2 feature one more camera fixed on a drone which follows your car and let me tell you, it brings all those replays to a completely new level making the picture more movie-like. Enjoy watching your own rides even more. There is also another cool camera currently available only on the Parking map. team here at CarX Tech has put in a lot of work to make sure your replays look just like all those breathtaking hot pursuit scenes from Hollywood action movies. Whats going on, you lovers of high-speed drifting! This time we wanna bring your attention to another novelty added to the game which was not mentioned in the original update post. Were talking about tire shapes and their natural look. Some of you must have already noticed how tires change their shape according to the air pressure. You can check it out by decreasing that pressure; youll sure see your tires go flattered.... Were not bragging here but Drift Racing 2 is the first mobile game to include that functionality. For us, mobile should not mean less functionality. Wed like to make games as realistic as possible. By the way, did you know that already before reading this post? Howdy, mobile drift fans! There is something we didnt mention in the patch notes to latest update & so wed like to tell you about it now. Were gonna talk about vinyls.... One of the numbers of add-ons is a wider set of paintable vinyls. The most vivid of them is the camouflage one. Now you can change colors of your vinyls in the Textures menu. On top of that, we added a few new types of vinyls as well as redesigned a few older ones. Check them out and tell us if you like them and if you want us to bring more. Stay in touch! How is it going, guys! Last time we asked you to guess the car hidden in the screenshot. Some of you got it right while some might have thought it was 2000 GT-R, which is not the case. The car in the screenshot is VZ 210 (aka VAZ-2107).... Its a Russian car and so were wondering what you think of Russian cars being present in game. Great news, racers! There is another update in the AppStore which has the following updates for the game New game mode, XDS, designed to help practice tandem drifting has been added.... You will be racing twice. The first time you will race as the Leader in a tandem drift, the second time you will be racing as the Follower, actually following yourself. Each one of your races will be evaluated based on the CarX XDS Evaluation System which consists of 100 score points. The CarX XDS Evaluation System is designed entirely on the professional evaluation system used in real life drift competitions. The XDS mode is a perfect opportunity to practice tandem drifting because it allows for quick swapping of cars for both the Leader and the Follower, experiment with tire pressure, try different driving trajectories for the Leader and go straight to practicing the Followers role right after. The more you practice the better you will learn to drift in tandem even when the Leader makes mistakes or drives a faster / slower car than that of the Follower. XDS is your chance to prepare to compete against real racers.
