Fishdomers! Easter is getting real close, so its about time to start decorating your houses... And why not use eggs for that? Heres a useful guide on how to make Fishdom-themed decoupage eggs! Rinse a raw egg in warm water to clean it. This will also make it easier to remove the yolk in the following steps. Pierce the bottom of the egg with a needle, creating a small hole. Pierce the top of the egg, making a slightly bigger hole. Pierce the yolk inside the egg and ge...ntly stir. Hold the egg larger hole down over a bowl. Blow into the smaller hole to hollow out the egg. Rinse the egg with warm water, drain. Blow air into the egg again, let dry. Cut various Fishdom-themed shapes out of paper, creating stencils. Use stencils and acrylic paint to color the egg. Let the egg dry for about 20 minutes. Cut off the tip of a toothpick and tie a thin thread to it. Put the toothpick into the bigger hole of the egg. Use your Fishdom-themed decoupage eggs to decorate your house! Dont forget to tell us how it all went and show us your Fishdom eggs! Good luck!

Fishdomers! The Easter event starts TOMORROW, so we thought its about time you get to know new guests Yellowtail and Greentail! Yellowtail and Greentail are well-known Easter symbols to aquarium residents, just like the Easter Bunny is to us. If they're around it means that spring is finally here! But very few know that these fish used to be completely ordinary and their scales weren't nearly so shiny. One day Yellowtail and Greentail were out swimming in a lovely ...meadow of seaweed. It was a hot day, so the fish decided to have a snooze among the soft weeds... Can you imagine how surprised they were to find themselves in a rabbit hole when they woke up? Daddy Rabbit thought they were Easter eggs, so he brought them home. His little bunnies just loved to color and they decided to color the poor fish's scales! fishes were a bit put out at first, but then they realized that the pattern wasn't half bad, so they decided to leave it as it was. This story quickly spread throughout the big sea, and fish started coming from everywhere to take a look at the famous "egg-fish." They even voted Yellowtail and Greentail the most beautiful spring fish because of their amazing scale patterns! From that day on, they've been announcing the start of the spring and Easter celebrations. You'll see them in your aquarium very soon!
