Facebook Payments haven't been working for a few days. Until it gets fixed you can buy credits using Paypal at Link or using the Google Play / Play Store apps.

Login with Google account is only possible with https secure url now. So if you get an error message when signing in with your Google account make sure you have Link in the browser.

New version 3.33 has been pushed to Apple AppStore. All games are now available on IOS too - including Sea Extension 2. It has 2 column layout for Ipad so that you can see the Lobby on the left while playing.:

The bug shown in the screenshot has been fixed: fields connected to the tile joining castles 4 and 5 were counted incorrectly. There were 2 types of tiles with same error, one with the grain and the other with the cloth badge. Big thanks Alex for reporting it.:

New game type - Double Sea Exp1: It has 216 tiles, 6 meeples, 2 giants, 5 ships. To recap Sea Exp1 extra rules:... 1. Lighthouses - double the score of the island - 2 points/tile if completed, 0 otherwise. 2. City with inner citadel - scores 3 points/tile if completed, 0 otherwise. And there is one more difference: each time a player has 2 turns - this is meant to speed up the game - we'll see how it works out.

New feature: AUTO RECONNECT You are automatically reconnected to your previous game if you disconnected because of network issues. There is a time limit of 15 secs.... The reconnect counts as a missed turn. You are not auto reconnected if you left the game deliberately by pressing close button. It is still beta - so there might be side effects.

Permanent price drop for big games: Expansion games can be played for 2 credits now. Double base game for 2 credits. Double expansion games for 4 credits.... The points you can earn also decreased - it is always double the price. For instance an Exp game scores 4 points. Have a nice day. Dev

Sea Exp2 rules revisited: 1. Citadels with cannons (x8) - if you complete a citadel with cannon you receive an extra ship placed in front of each cannon. This extra ship can be used to conquer only that sea - when completed the extra ships vanishes. You only receive the extra ship if you complete the citadel before the sea. And you only receive the extra ship if you are a clear winner of the citadel, egality is not enough.... 2. Treasure island (x4) - you don't need to place a meeple on it - this simply adds 6 points to the completed sea score. So the winner of the sea will get the plus points for it. 3. The whale (x4) - you cannot place a ship on or around a whale so if you place a whale you will keep away ships from that area. However it has no effect on an extra ship (see point 1).

Sea Expansion 2 (beta) is LIVE on desktop and mobile browser! UPDATE - also available in Android app v 3.3 UPDATE 2 - SeaExp2 will not come to IOS app for several month because I have to rewrite that app completely. So please use the browser version on iPhone.... New tiles and rules: 0. First 25 tiles are randomly placed at start - they are land and sea tiles. 1. The whale (x4) - you cannot place a ship on or around a whale so if you place a whale you will keep away ships from that area. 2. Treasure island (x4) - you don't need to place a meeple on it - this simply add 6 points to the completed sea score. So teh winner of the sea will get the plus points for it. 3. Triangle shaped island (x3) - this is just for separating seas. 4. Citadels with cannons (x8) - if you complete a citadel with cannon you receive an extra (pirate) ship placed in front of each cannon. This extra ship can be used to conquer only that sea - when completed the extra ships vanishes. Bugs are still possible - please let me know. Rules and tiles can still change - I'll post any changes here. Enjoy!

Narrow Sea Expansion 2 is coming next week! The new game starts with 25 tiles already placed - these are sea and land tiles. The combination is random. Before starting the game you can already think about your strategy - which sea is the easiest to close?:

Important: Facebook payment has a bug which I have reported. So please don't try to buy credits on Facebook until I get back to you. ... Meanwhile you can buy credits on the game site Link or inside the Android/IOS apps.

I'm working on Sea Expansion 2. It will focus on enhancing the sea as currently the water is rather empty. Possible new elements: whale, treasure island, pirate ship.... The score of seas will be higher and the fight for them will become tougher...

I started to add vector based svg tiles - first to the mini game. These look much better when scaled but there is a performance price to pay. So I only enabled this on desktop for now. Please tell me if you experience a disturbing performance drop.... Update: this has been rolled back as it caused performance issues for some users.

Important change in Sea rules: 2 tile sea only scores 2 points - instead 4. The reason I make this change - it is too easy to score with these small seas and little strategy is needed to win the game.... Building bigger seas is more exciting. Let's see how this works out!
