URGENT UPDATE 7-30 The tech team has found the root cause of the issue and are working on a fix. they will test it internally and as soon as they feel confident that it will not cause issues they will be releasing an update. There is an issue on the island. Some players may notice a small pink hut in the far upper left corner (way up on the cliff). What appears to be happening is that each time a player visits the island this hut builds and adds a smurf to the village. Popr...each is aware and is investigating the issue. Right now a recommendation is to stop visiting your island so that there are not Smurfs being added to your island. We will keep people up to date as soon as the developers know the cause and a fix. This does not seem to affect the rest of the game, just the Island. For those considering 'hey, free smurfs', please know that there is a limit to how many smurfs your game can have, along with how many roaming critters and there is no way to know what will happen if your game is maxed out so...make the choice you are willing to live with.

Important Development Team update regarding the recent intermittent Internet Connectivity issues currently affecting Smurfs' Village. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that the recent intermittent connectivity issues appear to be the result of congested internet traffic to servers. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic, there has been a dramatic increase in internet usage across the globe. While servers are capable of accommodating player bas...e, the throughput to the servers can become strained, which in turn can cause this unfortunate issue to occur occasionally. It is essential to remain calm and not panic. As long as you can make at least one successful Smurf ID Cloud Save, your progress is safe on servers. Smurfs' Village requires a stable and robust connection to access such features as Postman Smurf, Smurf ID Login, Cloud Saves, Videos, and Visiting/Gifting friends. If you are unable to access these online features, wait a few minutes, and try again later. Additionally, we STRONGLY recommend that you never uninstall your Smurfs' Village app from your device, no matter what the issue is. Despite the best of intentions, it appears that those players who were previously having issues with force closing are still experiencing the same problem after installing the just-released Version 1.91.1 Bug Fix update. Thanks to quick action by several affected players, we are now in the possession of their crash logs and have been able to reproduce the problem. We have begun work on an additional fix that should remedy the problem once and for all.... When we are finished, we will make another announcement with new information on what to expect.
