New ... 3 new league towers have been added to the game - Wooden Cannon, Cleansing Tower & Digging Hunter. They differ from their default versions by 10% increased damage. Wooden Cannon shards can be obtained in league mines, starting with Stone I league. Cleansing Tower & Digging Hunter can be obtained at the same place starting with Bronze I league. What is more, shards can be received via League Booster in case youve already reached the necessary leagues (Stone I and Bronze I, correspondingly). Fixes Fixed the incorrect number of essence needed for evolving league Spray Tower. Now its evolve price is the same as the original towers. Counter icons are now displayed correctly within the frames. Fixed a bug which made Blinkers teleport too often. Changes in the Steam version of the game Now you are able to zoom in and out of the battlefield using the scroll wheel. Zooming in and out with double clicking is no longer possible. Zooming in and out on the global map now works properly. Scrolling up zooms the map in, scrolling down zooms it out. Graphics optimized. A new additional option - High Quality, - was added. By default, it is turned off. This allows to significantly increase FPS while keeping a decent level of detalization. If you want the effects to be displayed, put a check mark next to this option. Now you can close different screens (victory screen, messages and etc.) by clicking on an empty space. There is no need to press ESC to do so anymore. Hotkeys are now working in the magic tutorial. Defenders 2 game tips from LotusBlade Part 1. Friends system A player named LotusBlade wrote a detailed guide on Steam, dedicated to Defenders 2 - Link ... We found it rather interesting and useful, and decided to share it with you - of course, after we received an approval from the rightful author :) We made a few alterations to LotusBlades text to make it more informative and accurate, too. This guide will be especially useful for all newcomers, but even Defenders 2 veterans may find something interesting in it! In Defenders 2, you can use other players' towers and spells in battle. This is a stand-alone feature which is different from SOS mechanic (ask a friend to beat a level, using your towers), though you may think they are the same. Prime World Defenders 2 features friends system, which allows you to cooperate with other players in order to get extra benefits. To use it, you need to follow these simple instruction Login to your Facebook account using game options. Choose any arena (except for mines). Click friends button at the top right area of your screen. You will see a list of your friends towers and spells. You can equip only one spell and one tower from a friend at a time. If the cards have more than 1 charge - you will be able to use them multiple times. Number of charges and runes depends on your friend. Level of borrowed tower / spell will depend on your own account lvl. If youve taken your friends card to battle, in order to keep the game balanced, a 24-hour cooldown timer will appear - it doesnt matter, if you used it or not. If youve already added a friend, but he is not visible in your friends list - re-log into your Facebook account inside the game. SOS is a unique feature in Defenders 2, which allows you to ask a friend to beat your level, using your towers. This way, your friends will have full access to your towers and spells. They will be able to try something different in terms of tactics, or just to gain new knowledge about game. For each round won, your friend will receive +1 star, while you will get +1 reward (of increased quality/rarity).

Disasters Disasters make matters on the battlefields worse. There are 8 types of disasters in the game. Night... During the darkest hours of night, your vision is limited beyond your base and towers. Long-range towers are better at revealing hidden areas. Windstorm A strong wind can speed or slow creeps and affect projectiles. 30% chance to miss as long as your choose towers that shoot projectiles. Haze A haze covers the whole area, covering creeps at long range and thus reducing the vision of your towers. Better use some long-range towers! Fog A dense fog that hides everything inside. Think of some way you can counter it. Thunderstorm A huge thunderstorm damages everything that falls under its lightning. It can kill lots of creeps if aimed right! Tornado Damages totems and towers. Grabs and spins small enemies, throwing them. May result in unexpected creep movements and damage to fragile towers. Burrows A burrow lets enemies go underground, out of the range of most towers and spells. Better call Digging Hunter to the battlefield or demolish the burrow! Portal A portal allows enemies to instantly leap from one spot to another. Better get rid of it fast.

Thoughts on the current state of the game and its future A few months ago we released Defenders 2 in Steam. And it was Thrilling! We were pleasantly surprised that PC-gamers were so excited about it. And we are not speaking about all the thumbs up reviews you left us (by the way, thank you so much for them!). We are speaking about your activity on the forum and feedback we receive every day. We are so glad to see how you help each other, share tips and tricks, discuss game ...mechanics. You are always trying to back your points of view up with facts, keeping it cool and nice. Your conversations are extremely interesting to read! And, of course, we want to thank you for all the idea, suggestions and criticism, too. There is nothing in this world which does not require a bit of healthy criticism :) Your feedback is helping us make Defenders 2 better. We read all your comments, so be sure that they do not remain unnoticed. By the way, some of your suggestions rise some pretty epic discussions within dev team! Its true that we cant implement all your ideas and suggestions into the game. But some features you asked us about have either already released (hotkeys, faster mouse scroll), either are going to be added to Defenders 2 soon. Oh, and a few words about the future of the project. We know that a huge number of players is interested in Steam Achievements. We will add ours soon! We also understand that it is important to be able to launch the game in windowed mode (tbh, we miss it ourselves, too :D). We have not been able to make this change yet, but we are currently working on it, so dont worry! Weve also received a very unexpected request from a group of players. You can obtain shards of each of six new towers by getting top places in league mines or by purchasing League Booster in the shop. Tooltips in the Steam version of the game became more informative.
