Our first PC gameGreenlit! Hooray! Greenlit in under 10 days! This is super good stuff. We started off really strong, gaining votes like nobodies business, and the momentum seemed to stabilise for about a week. We had consistent comments, discussions and votes throughout the first 5 days and saw item stats climbing to sit at a top #25 spot. Top players watch out! Marcello is coming to grab your spots A very ambitious and experienced player is on the run to be in the first 5s of La Scopa High-Score. When his granddaughter introduced him to La and La , Marcello Paoli, Italian from Tuscany, found a true passion. The competitive nature of the game intrigued him since the beginning - says Emma, Marcellos daughter - and he got very quickly how to play on an iPad, so now this is a daily enjoyment, ...wherever he goes. Born in Tuscany 81 years ago, he moved to Australia when he was 17 to be with his brother, Carlo. His occupation was knitting designer before he retired, at 68 years old, to dedicate himself to his greatest passion his family (and cooking for them). He got 4 grandchildren and one great grandson (6 months old, in the picture in Marcellos proud arms), accomplishments of his 57 year old marriage. Marcello used to play many of the most traditional Italian card games, like briscola and ramino, along with scopa. Now, with his new iPad mini (much appreciated fathers day gift!) he can bring the fight on another level! And maybe teach some old tricks to the new generation...

Classe 1931, Eliseo non molla la vetta della classifica Mondiale di La Scopa da anni oramai e da vero appassionato aveva anche conquistato lo status di VIP nei giochi OutOfTheBit. La passione per le carte nasce da ragazzino, quando giocava nel bar del paese, Arpino (che diede i natali anche al ...grande oratore Cicerone, ndr), prima dellinizio della sua carriera in Polizia. Ripreder a giocare dopo quasi 60 anni, sulliPad, proprio con La . Amo definirmi modestamente artista e contadino dice l84enne, pensionato dagli anni 90 che nelle sue giornate alterna la cura dellorto (rigorosamente senza guanti!) e degli animali da cortile alla musica. Ho iniziato a suonare nella banda della Polizia, a Milano, nei primi anni 50 e me la cavo con pianoforte, fisarmonica, clarinetto e sax.
