Songs are super helpful with language development. Who doesn't like music?? Every time we hear a catchy song, we find ourselves tapping feet or singing it in head for way longer than we might like BUT we don't easily forget the words!Here is a great activity that you can use at home OR in the classroom! Creating a playlist of fun songs in the language your little ones are learning can be a great addition to your teaching strategies!

Make a picture dictionary! If your little one is finding it difficult to remember new or difficult words, make a picture dictionary! This FUN activity reinforces vocabulary through hands-on learning and empowers THEM to make it their own. All they need is a notebook or folder glue and scissors (with adult supervision) and some old magazines or newspapers ! Problem solving skills are incredibly important for us to learn as kids. It helps set us up for the future or for the day when Mum or Dad aren't around the room and something needs doing!
