These are the most popular Japanese expressions of 2015 The first is bakugai (), which means, literally, "bulk purchasing". This expression has became popular because of the amount of Chinese tourist who visit Japan, and spend a lot of money in the Japanese shopping malls. The second one is toripuru surri. This expression comes from the baseball universe, and is used for talking about players that have ended the season with at least 30 home runs, 30 stolen bases and 30% ...beaten balls. What do you think? Did you expected these words?

Japan, as you know, is distinguished for the rules of decorum. These are present even when you are drinking alcohol. For the Japanese is usual, especially in formal situations, to serve the rest of the people and never serve ourselves. even at the end. When you have finished to serve everybody, you have to leave the bottle at the table and wait for someone to serve you. Yo can say that in Japan you don't get drunk...people get you drunk!

The Japanese, through thousands of votes, have recently chosen the cities with the best night views of Japan. The winner is Nagasaki, and in the second and third place we can find Sapporo and Kobe. Nagasaki has totally recovered since the nuclear attack of 1945, and now is a huge port city with a strong industry of ship construction. What do you think about the views from the most elevated parks?

If you are in Japan and you want to eat in a local restaurant, you have to be very careful with the manners. You can't nail the chopsticks in the rice bowl, because it's a funeral rite. Also, changing food from a stick to another is impolite to, so, if we want to give some of food to a friend, we have to put it in a dish. If we don't have cutlery for serve, it's polite to use the upper part of chopsticks (that one which does not touch the mouth) for serving ourselves and maintain the food "clean".
