An unexpected throne | The fourth emperor of Roman empire After the happy National Holiday , now Easytech is coming back ! Today , we continue to tell some historic stories. The first dynasty of Roman empire was created by Augustus. It was called as [Julia Claudius Dynasty]. But Octavian had only daughters,there were no suitable adult male heirs. His brother -- Germanicus was adopted by Octavian.Due to health reasons, he never had any chances to participate in public life. When Caligula became the emperor , Claudius became Roman consul. Function update 1.We add the function to reset units tactics upgrades in Senate. 2.The upper limit of Senates grade is raised. 3.The difficulty for countries in Conquest mode is adjusted and divided into 4 levels . The rise of Second triumvirate In the previous thread , we talk about [First triumvirate] created by Caesar , Crassus and Pompey. First triumvirate has fallen , but Second triumvirate has built . After Caesar's assassination, the struggle for power was inevitable. Antony is Caesars right hand . And Roman cavalry officer -- Lepidus also wants to get the power . When Roman civil war was on the verge of breaking out , Octavian appeared . He was Caesars adopted son . Octa...vian was only 19 years old , but he was courageous and clever . He successfully got peoples and legions support . This made Antony unsatisfied . In 44 BC , Antony sent troops to conquer Cisalpine Gaul. The Roman Senate took the opportunity to declare him a public enemy and appointed Octavian as deputy consul to fight Antony. After Octavian defeated Antony in 43 BC, Antony united with Lepidus.However , Octavian was stripped of his military command by Senate . That made him uneasy.
