Remembering the legendary German GM Wolfgang Uhlmann who breathed his last on August 24th, aged 85. A former World Championship Candidate and a top player for many years, Uhlmann was a renowned expert on the French Defence and ventured this opening fearlessly even against top-notch opposition.
